I think you should first understand why Jesus came, what He did and why He did it. When you say you are born again, yet you still pray against generational curses, that's like raising a defeated giant, arming him and fighting him again.

Get this one now! It gives Satan joy when the redeemed of the Lord pray such prayers. As a born again praying against generational curses, foundation, against place of birth....They are prayers of unbelief.

The enemy does not want you to know who you really are in the Lord, so he creates lies to make you believe they are real so you will think you still need to battle an already finished work.

Such prayers are prayers of unbelief. Remember, we are saved because we believe, why then act contrary to what we are supposed to believe since we have been saved. I will post scriptures later.

Please, let's stop insulting the Blood of Jesus Christ. The blood is so expensive that it didn't do the job half don. Jesus handed over victory to us and not battle, all we need to do is live on that consciousness and live by faith.

Since Jesus is the 2nd Adam and since he gave me a new life, He didn't leave me empty, He gave me His Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Sonship, which has made me a joint heir with Jesus and now God Almighty is my father. It is knowing that I am now linked to the 2nd Adam(Jesus Christ) and no more the first Adam which the link is from my father down to him.

So therefore, generational curses has nothing to do with the new me, yes it had something to do with the old me when I was not redeemed, when I was still connected to the first Adam and because that first me died with Jesus during baptism by emersion and was raised a new person of which I am now a joint heir with Jesus and now I am the son of God. God is my new family. I no longer have anything to do with generational curses because the enemy no longer has the legal right on the new me, he had the legal right to use it against the old me, but now the old me is dead. I am a new creature and a brand new. Even when the effects of the curses seem to manifest on the new me, I let the devil know he has lost the legal right and I resist him by faith and he flees. I am now a winner!

As a born again Christian, you pray without ceasing. I didn't say you should not pray, but it's what you are praying about that am talking about. Some prayers will even take the person back into captivity.

As a born again, it doesn't mean attacks won't come, they will come, but counter with your prayers. But not praying against generational curses... that does not have power over you anymore. This kind of prayer empowers the enemy even more, because he takes advantage of the person's ignorance.

As a born again, you have enemies and you defeat them through prayers. For example, when you want to fall sick, you pray "I am the redeemed of the Lord, my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, therefore sickness is not permitted. Well, he finished preaching.....here comes the 2nd preacher and the first thing he said was "somebody will die now" and the whole church went upside down, what a contrast? You can literally read their mind that they are saying where did they bring this bush man from? Anyway, the man told ushers to stand by the door because there are witches there and this is where it gets interesting because the first preacher, the "zoe" pastor got angry and walked out of the church to chill in his car till the "village pastor" round up.

Within a matter of second, the power of God hit the church and a woman began to bounce like a football, started confessing saying "beg my son, i am the one that locked the wife's womb...pls beg my son because i am the one that uses his wife's face to appear in his dream.." Now, the "zoe" pastor who went outside was hearing confessions from the speaker and he tiptoed to the church to see who was confessing and lo and behold, it was his mother.

When it was time for judgement prayer, the pastor told the congregation to command them to die and the zoe pastor faced his mother and said die, die die and the deliverance pastor told him no pastor, the greek word for die is ...(zoe pastor interrupted him and said no prophet, forget greek word, mama die, die, die).

When you read, try to understand the event at that time which led to Paul writing this letter to the church.

It was like at that time, christians were persecuted by non christians especially the Jews. And these Jews were mere humans(what is known as flesh and blood) and not spirits.
That's why Paul wrote to christians saying we wrestle not against flesh and blood (humans).
Because, while early christians and Paul were preaching to promote christianity these Jews were promoting their religion(Judaism) against christianity,they even went as far as persecuting and killing christians, That was the wrestling Paul was talking about, not wrestling against witches and wizards.
Principalities and powers there refers the the ruling religion as at that time which was Judaism (religion of the Jews) because that religion was powerful and authoritative or a major principality(due to how God powerfully fought for the Jews in the past) and was widely practiced. Because Judaism was that powerful, they began to rule the world in darkness(deception). Hence, Jesus even fought the Jews before he was eventually crucified.
And few disciples of Jesus practiced christianity as at that time, so they were less powerful.
So, principalities, powers, rulers of darkness do not necessarily mean witches and wizards as put by Africans today.

The problem about Africans today is that we are too diabolical, so when we read scriptures like these, all we see is diabolism and fear.

Stay blessed too my brother and always remember that the moment you become born again, you are no longer in democracy but military zone and if you are too casual, you become a casualty. In the kingdom of darkness, there is no militarised zone, if you stand with a civilian mentality, you will be a casualty.

In destiny, there is no democracy, you must be a militant. Spirit husband does not have power over a born again Christian. As a born again, they don't exist, but stay away from sin, it will open door for attacks if you sin and not repent of it, especially sexual immorality. As for prayer for progress, the scripture below might help.
