Everything I want is on the other side of fear.

I quickly stretched and leaned forward in the midst of the pressing crowd; everyone shouting their desired item of purchase to the slender teenage salesgirl of the only open kiosk around the church environment. I wanted to quench my thirst with any available cold drink and so seemed everyone around me, obviously, having been singing and praising and shouting to the Lord these past few hours in the 3-day youth camp meeting of our church.

That was when she caught my eye. My kind of girl. Desperate to purchase what she came for, she also joined the fray of raised hands and raised voices.
"Gimme one sprite, one digestive biscuit!" she kept repeating. The salesgirl had her hands full. I was also calling out my orders but my voice quieted down as something else had stolen my attention.

My God, she was beautiful! Homemade, natural and a touch of sophistication I thought to myself. Like the woman with the issue of blood, I headed for her in the crowd and told myself "if only I could feel the gentleness of her skin". Hmmm. Almost there. Suddenly, she turns and starts to head out and away, almost as if she knew my intentions...
