Finding your own somebodiness

I could tell you all about me by detailing how I was born, the school I attended ,where I am now and where am headed.

An orator was said and I quote

"As a man thinketh in his heart so is he"

In other words another way of knowing someone is by studying the way the person thinks.

So apart from me detailing to you about my life I could just easily take you through my thought pattern.

I think in time frames.

An author once said that ;
"The future is not tomorrow,but a process that started yesterday that crept in to today and eventually becomes tomorrow"

I will be using parts of a vehicle to describe this time frames.

The rear mirror, windshield, and side mirrors.

The rear mirror represents the past, where am coming from. Experiences I have had, lessons learnt. I look through occasionally.The key thing brought from there to the present is a good brain and a teachable ability.

The side mirrors represents today.Note that these mirrors are two and are used for comparisons. The comparisons should not be you with others.but should be you and you. The comparison should be what you are now compared to what you could be.

The windshield talks about tomorrow.I got a secret to tackle the future. Knowing fully well that the product of the past is what makes up the present . the product of the present makes up the future. Therefore I teleported myself into the future via time travel, a year from now, five years, ten years from now. I experience all the things I want then. Have a feel of them. Then and there ,I discounted myself down to the present and put in place disciplines, decision and action to take me there.

I have searched for just a word to describe my whole essence and I came up with this: captain of my soul

That's four words.

"Captain" it is.
