No Memo no matter who wrote it can make illegal the preaching of the Good News that JESUS Christ was born, lived, died and rose again to save mankind from sin!

It is a sin. It is against copy rights commission to copy someone's work without seeking permission.

But if they claim is was inspired by Holy Spirit it is no longer their their intellectual work and they have no right to stop people from sharing it with their friends, since they are not claiming ownership if it

It is still a sin why because they stated it clearly that do not copy. As far as they agree that their work shouldn't be copied without permission, anybody who copies had commit sin no matter the justification. They have reason for such policy and should be respected.This Bible verse says it all ( Prov 16:25, Prov 14:12)

I hope our religious leaders will not fail nor pull down what we built with our own hands. Money is not everything.

Our religious leaders should be informed that RCCG is no longer a corner kiosk.

The memo on open heaven is an aberration to say the list. It took the efforts of everyone to push Our daily bread off the menu of most family and made Open heaven their choice. Our daily bread comes free when printed-Open heaven costs. Our leaders should know that gospel cost is to be carried by the church somehow.

It is unnecessary distraction. Why in January? Is it not this time last year that news of daddy retiring as G.O came to all as a shock? RCCG needs prayer.

We barely survived tithe issue, first fruit is steering us in the face and now this self inflicted stuff on Open Heaven.

Is making record breaking profit on Open Heaven now the priority when people are still querying why we collected offering from the poor to build Secondary & University that the members/poor cannot send their children to. Nothing is free in church now and RCCG isn't an exception.

The truth is if this door closed, there would be a better alternative. God will help the church.

Its actually a crime, and therefore a sin to share such material without permission. That's the law of the land.

That being said, its even a bigger sin for a Church or pastor to withhold such material from the world for reasons best known to them.

2. Many persons will adulterate it
3. The bible is inspired yet it is not free( answer to your question on sharing the Bible). Those free bibles being distributed are as a result of voluntary contribution e.g Gideon Bible
4. For intellectual purpose.

If this is true, then we have to abide by their decision.

As folks may know, I am not a member of this church....but there is a principle involved here...which applies to any secular or non-secular institution.
That is their property and they can authorize how, when, where and why it's distributed.
No amount of intellectual/technical pseudo-religious argument can justify defying what that particular church has stated.
God would have us to abide by the laws of the land....as long as they don't violate His commands...(another topic for another day).
Violate those laws, then be prepared to receive the consequences.
