I don’t have a problem with people making volunteering or pressured donations to their various religious organizations. After all, every organization require funding for their sustenance and survival. However, what I find disturbing is the lack of transparency and accountability in churches. This is the same problem we have in Nigeria. Religious organizations should publish their statement of accounts, financial positions and income statements and also other important information to their members. I strongly believe that their members deserved to know because of their donations.

Please lets judge by the scripture if Freez is right or wrong. Christian are too busy to study the word of God that is why the so called pastors are taking advantage to exploit the believers. My question is did Jesus take tithe from any one how about the Apostles and why? In new testament we saw Jesus and the early apostles accepted gifts from people. Giving is what we have in the new testament. There was no tithe in the early church but giving to the work of God. Tithe is Law but I am surprised that the blood of Jesus did not cover tithe.

There is a difference between spirituality and religion. Nigerians and Africans have been brain washed by religion that's why it's easy for even intellectuals among us to be cajoled at the drop of a hat.


Travelled to the US for holiday and visited a homeless shelter catering for poor people and I was impressed with their conduct. The shelter provided food and clothing for both muslims,Christians, atheists and even gang members.

I can bet this won't happen in a typical Nigerian setting. Also religion as we know it was imported into Africa so I beg to ask this why do the originators and importers of the religion have more/better schools/hospitals than churches while we have more churches than schools?


Why do they prosper economically while we seem to be going backward everyday despite the growth of religion in our midst?

Why do we hate each other so much and yet openly declare our love for God?

Why can't we be our brother's keeper?

For the "tithe avengers" know this there are certain universal laws that operate in the universe and apply to all irrespective of race tribe or religion once you can tap into the workings of these laws...success will come your way.


There are two laws that govern Christianity namely

Love God with all your being
Love your neighbor as your self

If we can't keep to the tenet of these two laws then all is an exercise in futility. I guess God in His infinite wisdom already knows hence the reason why judgment will first and foremost start from house of God.

Instead if trying to fight God's battle why don't we work on ourselves so we can become better on a daily basis and develop the much required personal spiritual relationship with God devoid of all these distractions?

if Jesus hasn't come to change the law, and if we must still observe all within the old testament, how come its only tithe we still hold on to? why not still making burnt sacrifice, polygamy, putting your stubborn children to death etc? Can someone just show me in the scriptures where God said tithes and FIRSTFRUITS not first wages ooo should be paid using money (gold, silver, paper or cryptocurrency)

1) Is tithe 10% of generic income OR 10% of crops and livestock?

2) If Jesus has fulfilled the Law (inclusive of tithing and animal sacrifice) per his death on the cross, is the law still binding and obligatory on his followers?

3) If Paul preached that physical circumcision which is a seal of acceptance of the old covenant (law) is not required for one to be a follower of Christ as per the new covenant...please how is tithing (one of the requirements of the old covenant) then mandatory for Christians?

4) The new covenant emphasizes on sacrificial giving out of a loving and cheerful heart as laid out in Matthew 25 v 31-46 and James 1v27.
