An explosion at Second Coming gas plant , along CMD Road in Magodo, Lagos has left at least 10 people dead, with concerns that more persons may still be trapped in the inferno.

According to reports, the incident was triggered by a spark in a car which lighted the gas in a truck offloading the highly inflammable product at the facility. The truck was leaking.

The fire is said to have spread to other properties in the neighbourhood, injuring many.
