I hate to say this, because I don't like to say it because lives matters, but I have to say it. When Mazi Nnamdi Kanu said no tribe not only Igbos are safe in Nigeria, these people crying now called him names. When lives were destroyed in the east, you people mocked and laughed at us, some even said it's just the beginning. Well this is just the beginning in Nigeria as a whole. When the prophet spoke, you people called him small boy. When he ask for arms not to fight nigeria but for his people to defend themselves, you people crucified him. Now a governor holding government office told the nation he will raise a million army in 2 weeks to fight or defend a nation. He equiped the youths to fight, now all of you are clapping. I am in support, but lets all of us fight for our rights, take ethinicity out of this struggle . Lets fight for our right in this dilapidated country. This country is not working and can never work

Senator shehu Sani is on point.

He was on channels sunrise daily today and I could see the pain in his face.

My heart bleed when I heard Benue people were going to Aso rock. angry

We cannot insist that the presidency goes to Benue State, but please lets not insult people who have lost their lives with unnecessary politics and visits that won't bring any solution

I mostly find myself agreeing with the Distinguish Sen. Shehu Sanni, the man is always on point and doesn't care about being politically correct. Say the truth and have a clear conscience these politicians won't.

Ortom is a very smart politician!...and i'm surprised he's selling a dummy to benue people and they seem to have fallen for it! Okay, benue is the food basket of the nation, what has the ortom govt done to contribute to the lot of the farmers in benue? I mean we have seen what Audu ogbeh has been able to do with yam farmers from Abuja; Nigeria is now a net exporter of yams courtesy of collaboration between Federal Ministry of Agric and benue yam farmers. Ortom is obviously threatened by this fact because he has done very little to help the farmers' fortunes in the three years he has been in govt. All he could offer the farmers is "I will help you prevent herdsmen from your farmlands"!

Even with the massive farmlands in Benue, the question is how much IGR has Ortom eked out from farming business for the govt? The answer is virtually nothing; because we know benue govt under ortom is owing teachers, workers and there's no evidence of investment in healthcare, school or road infrastructure in the last three years; it's okada and keke napep everywhere even in markurdi o (the state capital).

Ortom is already looking at 2019, and he 's playing on the sensibilities of benue farmers by creating friction with farmers and herdsmen. He is not just interested in any option that could potentially resolve the herdsmen-farmers crises!...When cattle colony option is suggested, ortom would say "no o we don't have land for grazing o or i don't know the meaning of cattle colony o; we only have farmlands o! (as if he has done any meaningful the farm lands o)! Ranching is the only solution o!......okay, when he was told that Cattle colony is a "mega-ranch" more like a super-market for all the needs of the cattle, ortom changed vibes again o and said benue doesn't have lands for fulani herdsmen! For God's sake, we have idoma and tiv people in cattle business too! Of course, we understand his fears; it's all about 2019! The unfortunate benue killings has earned ortom huge public sympathy and he doesn't want any option that would possibly resolve the farmers-herdsmen conundrum and make him lose any strand of that sympathy before the next election. The benue killing has shield ortom from the real issue that he's a failed governor!

Well, Ortom is deliberately making benue miss out in the lucrative cattle business for his own selfish gains! I can tell you for free that Lagos & southwest account for about 60% of the 6 to 7 million annual cattle consumption. Go to Agege abattoir and see an example of a functional cattle colony. Lagos generates close to N100 billion in taxes from cattle business; and Agege where the mega-ranch is located in Lagos is a high brow o by Markurdi standard and it is predominantly inhabited by hausas and fulanis, yet we have never experienced any major skirmish like the one seen in benue recently because Lagos has been blessed with responsible people in government over the years.

Whether ortom likes it or not, he will account for the killing in benue someday!....Don't trust politicians! They can do anything to have power!

Oga, politics is not a profession. There is something called common sense. Why do you want him to keep quiet because of political ambitions? Remember the herdsmen know your address. They'll come graze on your backyard garden soon.

The senator is playing politics by playing to the gallery. Does he actually know the problem of fulani herdmen and farmers? he is always using every opportunity to rail against his Governor Nasir El-rufai (albeit in a subtle manner) because he wants to be governor of Kaduna state.

Not the first time... these has been the trend.

When it happened in Enugu... Buhari didn't visit,it the governor who visited Aso Rock instead.

When it happened in Nassarawa Buhari didn't visit.

It happened in Ekiti Buhari didn't visit

It happened in Kaduna(El Rufai is an accomplice ) so you don't expect Buhari to visit

It happened in Taraba he never visited

It happened in Adamawa, he never visited

Is it now that is the turn of Benue that you expect Buhari to visit?

It a case of "Mohammed going to mountain"

Sadly that is the succinct appraisal of the man Buhari and his governance...You really have to watch that infamous video where Mr. President made the 97%/5% gaffe and you will be left perplexed by his mental capacity to reason not to talk of governance.
I can authoritatively say that Buhari is the president with lowest IQ in the world...A true disaster that is clearly rubbing on his government shamelessly!

Wow! What a world. Thank you because I thought it was just me.
I just watched that 97% clip for the first time recently.
Buhari didn't even understand the question he was asked and even after the man beside him explained he still jumped into the very unintelligent talk.Everyone one there must've been shocked
