[b]It still seems so surreal to me finding out that I have completed my undergraduate studies in International Relations with a 4.00/4.00 CGPA (High Honours/First Class). Yet another phase of my life surpassed. As proud as I am of how far I have come in my academics, I am prouder of the woman I am becoming, and how well I have come. In these 3.5 years, I have known sadness and challenges, but through it all, I have known more moments of joy and victory. I have met so many persons; the best people often more than the unpleasant ones, and I have made a family of individuals who have refurbished my hope in humanity. Thank you to Eastern Mediterranean University for this opportunity to live my desire of discovering more about this diverse world, and for being the foundation where I have become not only more educated, but a person with greater tolerance to diversity. Thank you for the financial and moral awards that were incentives to my motivation. Thank you to all who have believed in me and all who have looked up to me, one way or another. Thank you for giving me something to look up to, as a beacon of my resolve. Thank you to my brother Kennedy, for all the invaluable words you instilled in me in my early teens. You may not be here anymore, but I am grateful to have had you in my life for the 14 years that you were my brother. A million thanks to my teachers, and to friends, who became family. I would not go on to mention names, but I will always keep you all close to my heart. I am so blessed to have the family I have away from home, and even more grateful for the lessons learned. How can I forget to thank my parents and my siblings, for loving me the way they have; for supporting me and grooming the woman I have become today. Thank you for not treating me like the least, although being the last kid of the family. Thank you for instilling the spirit of independence and advocacy in me. Thank you for teaching me to have a voice from an early age. Thank you for raising me to know that I have a say, and for often being a confidence-booster by giving me chances to also offer my views in the family. Thank you for showing me the spirit of resilience. Thank you to my siblings for being the best role models any kid sister would ask for. Thank you for setting the path and for the huge shoes I have had to walk in. Thank you daddy for encouraging the writer in me, and letting me thrash your work papers as a little child. Thank you mom for your love and the discipline while growing up. Thank you for all your sacrifices while raising me. This journey began with a step and a leap of faith. To those who will be in my inbox asking "what's next?", I wish I had the answer. I am just saving you the trouble. In all, I am most grateful to the Almighty God, and to the universe for stepping in, whenever I finished everything humanly possible, that I could.
