Chinese Business Conglomerate In Ondo For Investment Talks

No less than four Chinese companies led by CRCC & TBEA are currently in Ondo State for investment talks with the State Government.

The business groups from China headed by Mr. Chen XiaoXing are interested in partnering with the State Government in various sectors of the economy particularly; Power, Deep Sea Port, Agriculture and Industrial Park.

Mr Chen XiaoXing while speaking in a meeting which marked the end of a three day business visit in the State at the Governor's Office on Thursday 25th January, 2018, remarked that their determination to partner with the State Government stemmed from the exemplary leadership of the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN.

"We have read so much about the New Administration in Ondo State. We have heard so much about the leadership style of the Governor. We're convinced he's the kind of leader to do business with ",he said.

The Governor on his part introduced the State Government Team, Engr Tunji Light Ariyomo- Power, Pastor Akin Olotu -Agriculture and Agribusiness and Boye Oyewumi - Investment.

Speaking further, Governor Akeredolu expressed delight and said that the Team from China was a serious Team different from other business groups on global window shopping.

The present Administration in Ondo State is already enjoying smooth business relationship with China. Wewood Limited, a Chinese company is planting Gemlina on 10,000 hectares of land in Okitipupa Local Government Area of the State.
