Some say that its not Biblical to elect church leaders by voting. They say Moses was not elected by Israelites neither was Joshua. The same to the apostles of Jesus and Paul. On the other hand some say no problem with election of church leaders and they practice it. WHICH IS WHICH

How can voting be unbiblical, unless someone wants to use "The Lord said. . ." to bulldoze his way into leadership?

After Judas betrayed Jesus, the disciples voted for Matthais to replace him.

15In those days Peter stood up among the believers[c] (a group numbering about a hundred and twenty) 16and said, "Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through the mouth of David concerning Judas. . . 21Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who have been with us the whole time the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, "

23So they proposed two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Matthias. 24Then they prayed, "Lord, you know everyone's heart. Show us which of these two you have chosen 25to take over this apostolic ministry, which Judas left to go where he belongs." 26Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.

So if the disciples voted, how can it be unbiblical?

The biblical accounts could have recorded all events word for word&action for action. Even the quran didnt give the full lifestyle of mohammad, thats y the hadiths were many. Apart from the bible,we have no hadith&we dnt need any cus the bible is more than enough.

It's better to pray and allow God to choose a leader especially in the house of God.

Our society is so corrupt that we can hardly have free and fair election even in the house of God.

In the olden days, people consults oracles like Ifa e.t.c before choosing a leader or king. Also in the old testaments, the prophets seeks the face of God before choosing a king. And the results is always favourable

Why such is not happening now in our religions cycle? Is because of corruption and selfish interest.

No wonder why the leadership of some churches was transferred to the wife of (General Overseer) after the demises of the General Overseer. SELFISH INTEREST.

The spirit of God is no more in some of so call 'the house of God'. How do you expect the Holy Spirit to lead & direct where HE(the holy spirit) is not present?
