Magboro Community In Ogun State Cry Out Over Alleged Herdsmen Invasion by e247mag: 12:34pm On Feb 01, 2018
Some residents of Magboro, in the Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, have called on the Ogun State Government and security agencies to rein in the activities of herdsmen in the community.

A set of landlords, who spoke to PUNCH on Wednesday, lamented the presence of herdsmen in their neighbourhood at an ungodly hour, saying their activities constituted security risk.
They also said some of the men carried guns while grazing their cattle on residential areas.

A landlord, Linus Okoye, said he had seen the herdsmen entering into the community with cattle three times in January.

He said, “I saw them at Magboro town as they grazed their cows and moved to the Abule area to MFM Prayer City, Magada and Onigbagbo areas. I was shocked when I saw them grazing their cows around 3am sometime last week. For the past 10 years that I have been living in this community, I have never seen them within this neighbourhood until now.

“We don’t want cattle in Magboro because there is no farmland here. We are living in this community with our wives and children and there are schools all around. So, what business do cattle have with humans? We feel uncomfortable. If they want to graze, they should go inside the bush. This is a town. We are trying as a community to repair our roads and they want to compound the problem; that will not happen. The government should stop their activities here. If we want to buy cows, we know where to get them.”

Another landlord, Wole Akinlowo, who is also a member of the Magboro Community Development Association, described the development as strange, saying reports from residents showed that trouble might be looming.

Akinlowo noted that on Sunday, January 21, the herdsmen were seen grazing between 4pm and 5pm, adding that they returned on Thursday, January 25.

“Around 2am on that day, they passed through every nook and cranny of the neighbourhood, searching for where to graze. After they left around 4am, cow dung littered everywhere. What would happen if anyone mistakenly threw a stone at the cows?

“The real issue is that the neighbourhood is not for grazing. Except for few houses under construction, there are houses everywhere. There is no farmland, ” he added.
Another resident, Damola Ojo, said he was returning home from work around 12am when he sighted the herdsmen with their cattle.

“I decided to drive slowly to observe the man leading them. I saw him with a gun. He did not hide it. These Fulani herdsmen are getting emboldened and it is sad that nobody is doing anything about them,” he said.

Governor Amosun would give them colony in Ogun State
Governor Ambode would give them some part of Epe and Ikorodu as colony. Those areas have lush grasses for herdsmen angry

Yoruba Christians are in trouble.

If Fulnani start their usual genocide in SW, we Christians are going to be their target. They will spare our muslim brothers the way they spare Muslims in North central.
Any Yoruba Christian who is still supporting this government that is hell bent on unleashing genocide on our christian brethren in North central should have his head properly examined.
Don't think they would stop in Benue, No..they are coming down to our land to continue what they are known for.
Have you asked yourself why MUMUric president.. Prof Akintola is a hard core Buhari supporter ?..Its because him and his followers won't become the victims of heardsmen when the battle line is drawn simply because they are Muslims.

As for that fake spare tire called Osibanjo, only God will judge his docile and weak steps towards this issue of headsmen. Hopeless Pastor.
They deceived us in 2015 to vote Buhari because he had Osibanjo by his side, we didn't know that Osibanjo is just a fake pastor who's only in Aso rock to protect the interest of himself and that of his family member.

Do you know that Osibanjo has refused to react towards the killing of one the members of his Church by Buhari's kinsmen ?
How can we trust such character ?

YORUBA CHRISTIANS, LETS WAKE UP AND DEFEND OURSELVES.

Those pastors that deceived us to vote Buhari in 2015 won't be here to save us when the genocide will start . Some of them will even run out of the contry while the remaining ones wl be moving around with heavy security men.
What of the commoners, what would be their fate ?

I repeat,, we are in big trouble.
Imagine what Buhari is doing during his ist tenure, then imagine what would happen in his second tenure which is going to be his final stay.

God forbids... Buhari will never get back to Aso rock come 2019. I would rather vote for a stone than to vote for Buhari ..

To my Yoruba Christian brethren, don't stay at home on election day, don't be docile and weak which is a typicacal character of an average yoruba christian, come out and kick the terrorist presently occupying Aso rock out if we must to tell our stories. If you dont't vote at all, you are worst that those that will vote for Buhari.

Yesterday was north central central Christians, tomorrow, it could be SW Christians (God forbids)

Yoruba christians are not in any trouble, If you have problem with fulani herdmen, you are free to voice your opinion without attaching yoruba christians to it.

The fulani menace is now a national issue and not that of certain region. For instance, the people of SE are living in fear of fulani herdmen hence IMO STATE signed peace pact with herdmen in the state last week.
Discuss the problems your people are facing at home and Stop discussing yoruba matter especially when you have nothing sensible to say.

Osinbajo was not the architect of the problems facing you or this country, so stop venting your anger towards him.

God bless the great man of God, VP Osinbajo. The man is our future president.

Osinbajo will make a good president, at least from my own perspective. However, do not ever make the mistake of thinking Buhari will hand over to him or any other person.

It's from Buhari to another Fulani man. Even God may not help Nigerians with this issue, because we voted a coup plotter and extremely sectional man into power with our eyes wide open.
