*Alleged herdsmen attacks in Edo: False alarm by people we know too well - Osagie*

…God Is Good Motors denies attack on buses

The Edo State Government has advised residents in the state to be wary of the deluge of fake news of alleged herdsmen attacks trending on the internet and circulated by people we know too well.

Special Adviser to Edo State Governor on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr. Crusoe Osagie, said “the false alarm originated with some disgruntled individuals.”

He explained that while the state government will not deny the skirmishes between herdsmen and farmers in part of the state, the recent propagation of fake news on social media is part of a plot to create a general sense of insecurity in the state and an attempt to put the current administration in bad light.

The Aide said “our investigation into the veracity of some audio messages about attacks on passengers in buses owned by God Is Good Motors and other vehicles, trending on the internet, showed that the story is not true as the management of the transport service debunked the claim, describing it as completely false. These are some of the shenanigans of these unholy group of people.

“Also, the photograph of dead people on the road allegedly killed by Fulani herdsmen has been trending on the internet since Tuesday. That photograph first hit the internet in 2010. It is pure mischief to circulate the 2010 photograph as an incident that happened yesterday. On the strength of the falsehood the promoters of the photograph set out to achieve, we have reasons to suspect similar internet content.

“One newspaper report said the photograph is of an armed robbery incident that happened in 2010. The newspaper account said that a bus driver was forced by the robbers to run some passengers over because the passengers did not give the robbers money.

“Edo people should be circumspect and cross-check any media content thrown at them on the internet as the people behind the campaign to de-market Edo State are people we know too well. They will stop at nothing in their desperation to advance reasons for them to return to power and plunder the people’s resources. Edo people should beware of false alarms by these unpatriotic elements,” he advised.

He assured that no campaign of calumny by these un-progressive elements can stop the ongoing redemption efforts of the Obaseki-led government after the blighted years of these enemies of Edo State.

The annual “POI Platform Award”, in its 2016 maiden edition, was initiated by renowned socia media administrator and political analyst and strategist, Hon Kelleyford Edigin.

Former Commissioner for Oil and Gas in the Oshiomhole administration, Hon Orobosa Omo-Ojo, coordinated the nominations and electoral college vote and the eventual prizegiving which held in Benin City on January 2, 2017.

The award recognised individuals and institutions who/which have contributed immensely to the sociopolitical development of Edo state in 2016.

According to the organizers, the prize categories will be, in the future, broadened to recognize achievements in science, technology, education, industry, leadership, entrepreneurship and literature – a sort of an Edo version of the ‘Nobel Prize’ – and would be all embracing and nonpartisan.

The prizegiving, christened “POI Platform Award”, is named after the Edo State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the 2016 gubernatorial election, former APC South-South Nigeria leader and pastor of The Redeemed Christian Church of God in Benin city, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

The event had many dignitaries in attendance, including the host, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and his wife, former House of Assembly member and younger twin to two-term Senator Odion Ugbesia, Hon Akhere Ugbesia, Brother to Godwin Obaseki the Edo State Governor, Labour Party aspirant in the 2016 election and veteran theatre practitioner, Dr Pedro Obaseki, among others.

According to the Panelist Collation Committee Chairman, Hon Orobosa Omo-Ojo, winners in different categories included the following;

Best News Blogger of the Year prize to Mrs Imade Ize-Iyamu.
Best Reporter of the Year prize to Urhokpota Reporters.
Best Politcal Leader of the Year prize to Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

Best Party Chairman of the Year prize to the Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Edo State, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, for restoring a hitherto seriously weakened party in the opposition to a position of fame and strength that it became the party to beat and the obvious favourite of the people in the 2016 gubernatorial election in Edo State.
Best Party Strategist of the Year prize to Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu for his innovative strategies and stratagem that helped his party to put forward a historic challenge of the incumbent in an election that the incumbent had to bend backwards to win the election, albeit by contested unlawful means.
Best Leader of the Year prize to one of the founders of the All Progressives Party (APC) in Nigeria, veteran diplomat and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chief Tom Ikimi for his leadership style noticed in 2016.

Governor Obaseki Ban District 41 Club Benin City . for Live Sex Strip Club and homosexual Activities

It was unusual for this Reporter to find themselves at a Night Club in Benin . I had been lodging at a Hotel on one of my Transit Visits to the Ancient City and was walking one Saturday evening and decided what the heck lets kill some time and entered this Night club in Benin City .
IT was a Public club as the group of men AKA Bouncers paid no attention to me .I apprhensively walked into the club and the first thing I noticed were a group of Ladies or should i call them just females holding on to long poles in practically nothing to wear except for long thigh high Leather boots .. They were all wearing nothing ! I bypassed this group and stepped into the main Dance / Bar . Smoke Alcohol and Sex was in the Air as Loud Music tried t o compete with all three vices . Also the Smell of Hemp and God knows What else .

At a Corner was a so called VIP section which i fet would be safer from the clearly unsavoury patrons i was already behelding .Un contested I caught a seat there and proceeded to watch the raunchy Show something i pray i soon forget and too too xrated to be put on paper .

It was Sodom and Gomorra Times 2 as Totally Naked Girls were involved in what i as an Adult was so called pretend live sex with patrons while everyone clearly REALISED it was real SEX . Whether the males were paid to act these live sex scenes i have no idea but the crowd was clearly loving it ! Believe me ! They were poured with Ten to Twenty Thousand Naira Bottles of Hard Liquor as theeir Pornographic movie was being enjoyed by the Crowd .A Crowd mostly of Politicians Con men aka 419 prostitiutes and University Students Males and Females from the Notorious BIU University founded by The Late Archbishop Benson Idahosaand Okada University and one or two You could pick out were Bankers from their Dressing and intonation . It was a Raucuos Bunch to be precise Well To cut a long Story short
After a While Against my inner Journalistic curiosity i had had enough and trying to make my way out i bumped into a Small Man dressed in white . The club was full everyone was jostling for space so this was inevitable as this man whom i was later told was Comrade Tony Kabaka an acolyte of Fmr Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomole had been gyrating in an all so cab calloway style but without the minnie the moocher abiltity to avoid other dancers . I tried o apologise but this Idiot as if possesed grabbbed me by the neck and proceeded to try to drag me out . I am not a small fellow and the impunity of this Imp did not impress me and i held his hands amidst his attempt to throw a punch which i immediately dodged . To say a pre Emptive Strike was an option passed my mind but i declined knowing i was much much Bigger and did not want to cloud my judgement against an obviously drunk midget .. About this Time Club Bouncers about 4 of them Accosted me and held me while this Fool tried to throw punches his cowardice could allow .I am a Black Belt karate Professional and succesfully used my Legs to counter and Shouted to the Bouncers or whoever they were that i am a journalist that this mad man attacked me first . They then hustled me out of the club in a manner that i wouldnt like to remember . I knew no one there so i rationalised that Resistance would be futile and left .

Let me not talk of the Lesbian and Homosexual Activities That is for another Day

I dont know how things are done in Benin City But Governor Godwin Obaseki for the sake of the concatenation of your name God Win . God is not in Benin city neither will Edo Win in its struggle to attact Tourists and Investors if So called Night clubs like these Exist .

These are not Night clubs but Professional Sodom and Gomorra where Sexual perversions are carried out in full eye of the public ! The are not private clubs

BAN THEM PLEASE

Thank You

My name for Security Reasons is with held

doing search on district 41 i came across these and wish i had done this before my exploit
