I had some cash for a personal project. The project seemed to be bigger than the cash at hand. So before I began the project I said to myself; this money is not only going to be enough but will run over. I'm going to finish this project and have exta cash left. I was thinking about the twelve basket when I told myself that (Mathew 14:20). And I was also thinking about the latent power of words. This morning I sat and reflected on the ongoing project, I saw that there's still work to do and the cash at hand appears to be dwindling very fast. You see, that's just the problem - we 'reflect'. I even thought to myself, 'well I'm only human, I'm limited'. And immediately a counter-thought took over; 'Jesus was human, but He was unlimited'. He spoke to a tree and the tree literally responded (Mark 11:12-25). Jesus was repeatedly referred to as The Son Of Man in the bible to tell us something. He bled like any other man and died like one. But He was special. The thing that made Him special is in me today - His Spirit. I was much younger many years ago when I visited Rev. John Ezeh's City Of Joy. As he preached he remarked that when he and his wife needed money both of them would literally be saying, 'money. Come. Money. Come'. I'll never forget the way he gesticulated with his hands as he said those words as though summoning the money. At the time, even as a christian, I didn't take his claim seriously or accepted that it worked that way. Today I think not only is that a working formula but also a formula for those ahead of their peers in the things of the spirit. 'The LORD merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born', psalm 33:6'. Jesus said, 'And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life - John 6:63'. I read something very interesting in a book recently. Scientific researches have been conducted at various times to ascertain the correlation between objects and sound. Rice turned moldy because 'you're bad rice - I hope you die' was written and attached to it's container like a label. There were more confounding studies conducted including a rice field, using loudspeakers to play music to it for sixty minutes each day. The field yielded an increase of 25 to 60% more rice! Take note that these studies were not conducted by preachers. Everything around us is made of molecules. Molecules originate from God because God is the creator. So you see, we're all connected - the paper sourced from a tree made of molecules, the stone, your shoes - everything. God made man to be master of the universe which means we're master of all molecules. When we know this, we won't be stupefied that we can alter the disposition of anything at all. Words are extremely powerful in this light because words are spirit that permeates the elixir that controls the microscopic molecules. The water that Jesus turned to wine had to have been altered at its molecular level for that to have been possible. He didn't do that, however, in a laboratory wearing a white coat. He merely spoke. My counsellor says, ' I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart - Mark 11:23'.
