am 100℅ in support of any move to remove Buhari in 2019 but we need to put strong consideration of Nigeria economic development into d plan.
Let d coalition/group not just focus on ousting Buhari from power without any clear economic blueprint.
let us not repeat the mistake of 2015 where APC's sole aim was to remove Jonathan from power without any clear program for economic development.
my problem is that APC nd PDP splinter group will rename themselves as our Messiah.
Buhari has really failed.

Not in support of these play acts. This is 2018 for heavens sake. Where is the time to evolve structures and convert convictions and ideologies to movements, parties and candidates. They should have started long ago and not wait till the horse has bolted. An attempt will only breed an error prone, half baked candidate. Countries that go into election in this short period of time have candidates ready aand are already 'shadowing' the present government with objective criticism and alternative ideas and solutions. It appears our political class are not about governance but power.

Yes, Buhari is doing this and that wrongly but to claim a desire for a better state is to structure a response, an alternative and I cannot see that being done on time. Power for power sake is useless to the people to be governed.

This is exactly what I am saying. To govern a hyper complex society like ours requires a lot of preparation, the time of which just isn't there. If they will not get it right first time then it is better not done at this moment. Our politicians and the laws that harbour them must make active politicking a full time endeavour whether in election season or not. This is one advantage of the parliamentary 'government in waiting' system. It produces candidates that are 'fully charged' and an incumbent on his toes. To restructure our polity every time an election cycle comes round is not the best. Let us not be 'baby emotional' and miss it. Afterall its about the game, not necessarily the players.

Removing Buhari and succeeding him with another fulani won't be welcomed.
It's either the presidency goes to the south or the middle belt.

Re: 2019: Plot To Stop Buhari Thickens by Reference(m): 8:34pm On Feb 04, 2018
In one of my posts in 2015 I did say I hoped the PDP could quickly regroup after the election loss to make our democracy 'competitive'. Sadly this has not happened and the result is a run away train wreck of a government without proper opposition brakes. This was caused by the Sheriff - Chairmanship tussle but have we noticed that since the matter was ended by the Supreme Court and the convention held the party had become more divided and docile than ever....why. Focus. The focus of the plastic unity was to remove Sheriff, just as the focus of the plastic APC unity was to remove Jonathan and just as these plastic objectives by these plastic minded persons are to remove Buhari. The reality is that after that, what next. This is where preparation that forms visions come in. And these take time to crystallize. We Nigerians are poor visionaires and worse critical thinkers, apt to reactions.

If our democracy was working well a lot of things wrong with this government will have been righted insitu by democratic opposition and not necessarily by the threat of re election or not. So we should think properly and build our competencies as citizens to know and demand good governance through the establishment of solid democratic institutions if not we will face the ignomy of having a new political party take charge at every election cycle. This is a slippery slope to anarchy we must ensure never happens.

There must be something about Buhari that the power brokers are afraid of. They don't even want to wait for the electorate to make their choice. I can imagine what would have happened if Obasanjo or Abdulsalami had got a group together with the sole aim of stopping Jonathan from going for a second term in office

We go soon find out.

As for me, I think that it could be too dangerous waiting till 2019 before getting rid of Buhari. The best thing to do is to find a way of getting him out of office now. Come 2019, he and his fellow people could come up with a master plan to ensure that he stays tight in office as president.

The question i keep asking myself is this; is it that these men fighting so hard for Buhari not to contest have suddenly fallen in love with Nigeria or have things become tight for them or they want to install their own stooge?

I am a Christian and I support Buhari so what do you have to say about me?.
Every government have their followers, osondi owendi, campaign against Buhari, vote against him because you don't like his government.
However, stop attacking and insulting those who believe in Buhari at least Buhari has not come to point gun at you to vote for him.
This is what Jona boys did in my hood before 2015 election, I live in Lagos and we are practically under SIEGE in my hood.
I am so happy he lost and some of those useless boys are dead and burried today, if the power of incumbent and dollars can't beat Buhari, na propaganda on social media will do it?. Shior.
