Project: Introduction of Ambulance Services

Scope: 300 Ambulances set aside to provide 24 hours medical services in the 23 local government areas of Sokoto State. In addition, ambulances have been stationed in major highways to provide quick services in times of emergency. Also, a Central Communication Centre has been established in Sokoto to coordinate the activities of the ambulances statewide.

Status: Vehicles delivered with some already in use. Other components are presently undergoing training for launch at a future date.
