The British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright met with Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Foreign Relations and Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa on Saturday.

After the meeting, the top diplomat shared details of their conversation on Twitter along with a picture of them.

However, Arkwright surprised many when he decided to share details of their conversation in Pidgin.

He said they discussed how to put an end to the inhuman jobs Nigerians are compelled to do abroad and the upcoming friendly match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Three Lions of England scheduled to hold at the Wembley Stadium in June.

Arkwright added that he would collaborate with the presidential aide to address the challenges.

He tweeted:

“Better talk with @abikedabiri on people wey dey carry our #Naija people go ogodo oyinbo go to yama yama work. We also yan about @NGSuperEagles @England game wey go happen at Wembley in June. We go join hands make things well well for all of us.”

Responding, Dabiri-Erewa confirmed that both had discussed the protection of the interest of Nigerians abroad.

She tweeted,
“Me and @PaulTArkwright British high commissioner yan well well about our people wey de obodo oyinbo. . Oga Paul pidgin Na real ogbonge o.”

The UK is an extension of Lekki(Minus the Oshodi South East part of London) so his pidgin should be good.
