Nembe is one of the ancient towns in southernmost part of Nigeria. It is completely surrounded by big rivers so that visitors and residents can only access it by ships and speed boats.
The indigenes used to worship many deities and other gods.
Over a decade ago, there was increasing number of deaths, hardship, turmoil, fear and general insecurity on the Nembe island.
The elders came together and consulted on what to do to normalise the situation. They invoked the gods. The most powerful of them all, an ancestral deity, which the entire people deeply feared and respected.
It spoke to them and emphasised continually that only the spirit of the Living God which was resident in a particular church in Nembe would be the One to pacify and ultimately solve their problems.
This testimony is corroborated by the BCS Secretary General, Archbishop B. W. Degi who witnessed the incident. He is also the 'son of the soil.'
There were many churches in the town. The most popular was the Baptist Church which had the largest members, and used to enjoy regular and heavy donations from well-to-do individuals and even authorities.
So a day was agreed upon where the deity, housed in a four corner construction, would identify the the particular church. Elders and the people moved from one church to another. At each church, the dreaded deity would shout and refused to move forward, saying it was not the one.
When they arrived at Baptist Church where everyone believed strongly it would be the one, the deity shouted and said the spirit of God was not there! The people were astonished, wondering which one else could be the one.
They never reckoned with Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. It was not popular then. Of course, the infrastructural state of the bethel was not inviting at all. Though it situated by the road side yet it was a run down mud building with thatched roof! And so, it was ruled out. When they had moved round all the known and 'respected churches' in Nembe they became tired but the deity insisted there was a place where the Living Spirit of God lavishly dwelled in Nembe. Somebody remembered that there was yet another church called Brotherhood of the Cross and Star; that they should give it a trial.
When they only approached the BCS bethel, the fearsome deity jumped up and screamed joyfully that this was where the Living Spirit of God dwelled, and here would be where the predicaments of the Nembe people would be permanently solved. The elders and people were completely taken aback!!
Anyway, they looked for the few leaders of BCS then. Alongside with the resident priest then, they initially suggested that they all move to Calabar where the world headquarters situates. Finally, they abided with pieces of advice from BCS, and the Father took control and the Spirit of the Living God prevailed in Nembe.

This is just a minor testimony compared to others. I have posted one of such here many called story but when it becomes reality to them, they started asking for more and asking me where is Olumba name written in the Bible some even said He is dead. Remember Wisdom is justified by her children.

I wonder how the Op wants us to interpret this story he posted. The deity of Nembe, who is obviously a demon chose BCS as the church where 'the living God' resides, and we all should believe it? How stupid can you get?! A demon is now choosing for us which church is the best among the rest.

Isn't it dead obvious that the deity supports BCS because they both come from the same dark, evil source?

I really weep for the stupidity of some people.

Anyhow U choose to interprete it. I also shared a former testimony of a prominent Church pastor that surrender his Church to BCS after He encountered with O.O.O. Now another testimony of a smaller god that surrender to O.O.O with these excerpt

So all knees must bowed, Juju, gods,witches, Muslim or Christian, other religion and inter denomination Just Watch out for more living testimonies. So if U hate the truth or testimonies just try and do better with your criticism. It's part of the ministry.
