A derby in Brazil between Vitoria and Bahia football clubs was abandoned with 11 minutes left after multiple players were sent off. A massive brawl involving the competitors forced the referee to end the state championship match on Sunday.


The rowdy match which was played in Salvador, Brazil saw a first half featuring more bookings than goals – a lone goal for the hosts and six card bookings.

Things got messier four minutes into the second half, after the opposing team scored and the goal scorer for Bahia opted to dance provocatively in front of host supporters.


Eight players were sent off after punches were thrown by players of both teams with home players attacking the equalizing team.
