The most unused feature on a Smart Phone is the Smart Phone itself? I believe that sounds strange to you. Meanwhile, we don’t just call each other the way we used to, instead we use Social Media, E-mail, or Text, to get in touch. That’s the main reason our Smart Phones doesn’t rings often, although not everyone’s Phone.

However, with the help of call announcer, we will know who’s calling us, this is were we will decide if its the kind of call we would like to pick. In addition, Truecaller is an awesome application that shows your caller details like; name (if it’s a new number), the country he/she is calling from, and some others. With the details it will display, you can only answer when you want to talk but if you don’t want to, you can ignore the call and return it when it’s more convenient to you. Truecaller also allow you to block a phone number.

In other way round, if ignoring the calls isn’t an option? Or you answered the phone call only to find out that it’s someone you really don’t want to talk to, Below is How You Can Avoid The Call and Other Unwanted Phone Calls.

Some of these unwanted phones calls may includes;

Calls From Chatty Relatives.

Calls From Stalkers.

Call From Telemarketers.

1. Calls From Relatives

We all know what it’s like to have a phone conversation with someone who won’t keep shut, we will only be making polite comments of agreement, but we aren’t really listening to what they’re saying, at that moment, you will only be thinking about how to put an end to the call politely. Most calls like this can be from Dads, Moms, or other close relatives you don’t want to disobey.

How To Deal With Calls From Relatives:- in case you get a phone call like this from either any of your relatives, answer the phone call and be very prepared to start ending the conversation before it even starts. Take for instance, a call from Dad, say something like, “Hello Daddy I wanted to answer so you won’t think I’m in any kind of problem but I’m very okay, but Daddy (with a baby voice) I really don’t have time to talk right now, can I call you back? Please (a little bit long)” your Daddy will surely agree with you but If you give him a chance to start the conversation, you’ll have no other chance to end it.

2. Calls From Stalkers

In an extreme situations, your unwanted calls may actually be calls of harassment, whether its a lover, or a vindictive friend, or a total stranger, this kind of phone calls should be taken seriously.

How To Deal With Calls From Stalker:- try to avoid answering the phone calls, and don’t respond to any form of harassment. First thing to do is, call your network provider or company to notify them, they will or may be able to block or prevent the number from calling you. Meanwhile, if the harassment doesn’t stop or leading to form of threats notify the law enforcement (like Police or Corps) to file a report, they will take action to stop the Stalker. If at all you don’t want to involve the Police or Corps, your only option is to change your phone number, but I highly recommend the Police to avoid other issues.
