Designer rice is a another way of recreating ofada rice, this is a very simple and delicious rice prepared with ayamase stew. Designer rice is one of my best rice recipes; it pairs well with fried plantain and the simplest way to make this is to prepare it just like jollof rice.
This delicious rice recipe is best cooked with plenty of meat and apart from beef you can make use of chicken or any other available protein in your kitchen.
Here are my ingredients for making designer rice

1. 1 kg of beef/chicken
2. 3 red bell peppers
3. 8 green bell peppers
4. 3 scotch bonnets
5. 2 stock cubes
6. 2 medium onions
7. 2 tablespoon ground crayfish
8. 1 tablespoon Iru (locust beans)
9. 1 cup of palm oil
10. 3 cups of parboiled rice
11. Salt to taste
