The Senate has kicked against the resumption of duties by the executive secretary nominee of the National Human Rights Commission, Anthony Ojukwu, without parliamentary confirmation. Ojukwu who was appointed in December by President Muhammadu Buhari, was asked this week by the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, to assume office as the acting Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
