With the high rate of unemployment in the country,it appears some Nigerian employers are taking the advantage to swindle Job seekers and sack them after paying some fee to get the job.We always criticise Lebanese and Indian employers of maltreating Nigerians working for them,but fail to talk about our own race who are worst.
This recruitment agency below that are set up with different names are own and run by one person.The names are,
Essential budget hotel recruitment.
Ashosh budget hotel.
Transit budget hotel.
Their headquarter is at No 16/18 muritala international airport road,7&8 bustop,beside gtb, airport road,ajao estate,lagos.The owner by the name Ashley Segun oshin,who i learned also have hotels,excel oriental,transit hotel and ashosh hotel,set up the above recruitment outfits to be demanding #5000 from unemployed youths.His HR department will tell unsuspecting job applicants to pay #5k and that they will undergo 2 weeks probation after which they will be confirmed before employed.Not only that,they will tell them that #3000,out of the #5000 paid,will be refunded back to the applicants after they have completed their 2 weeks probation.That the ₦3k is for their transportation cost for the 2 weeks they spent while the probation lasted.That is a trick.After they have exploited applicants for 2 weeks they will not refund back the #3k as promised.Instead,they will be sack and replaced with another group of potential victims.This dubious attitude goes on and on.
Rather,they will tell them that the #3k refund has been cancel without notifying the applicants before he/she was engaged.I have read about the chairman's,segun oshin's profile here on Nl previously, ,https://www.nairaland.com/2414044/transit-budget-hotels-criminally-known,but I ignored it.
I want to use this medium to advise job seekers to avoid that hotel.

Thanks for bringing this up,we have been trying to see how we can warn applicants about this company but o dont know what has kept us all this while, i left there last week Friday after spending almost 3months to be given one month salary and went still went ahead to deduct 10,000 as penalty( the most popular word there) for doing noting.The man is a fraudster who never paid for anything and want to have things for free ranging from NEPA bill,rent,salary,signage.he will bring his sign board out in the evening when signage office has close and will advertise low room charge that are not there.He is a known cheater who duped people in uk and run to Nigeria just google segun oshin and see the result.Currently his hotel at Babatola close opp.computer village has been closed due to his inability to pay rent for 3years,he is also owing 36m as Nepa bill and usually engage some guys to fix it in the night but he also refused to pay them and they have to leave him to continue buying diesel

Thank God I have a witness.His penalty is between 5 to 10k and it for no reason.Imagine,you are on 2 weeks probation and you have been fined 5k for discussing with your partner.Also,workers will be told to put on a false smile to guests with their teeth showing.Failure attract a penalty of between 5 to 10k.

What you posted is small to what is actually happening there,it seem u didn't spend much days there.I discovered the fraud the very day i resumed there

I actually went to 2 of the branches where they always trick job applicants that they will be posted to after their two weeks probation.One of the branches at babatope close,opp computer village, ikeja,looks like a small house that was abandoned decades ago.The other one at awolowo way,ikeja,looks like an office building.Both are painted in white colour.These are the dilapidated buildings they called hotel branches where they trick job applicants that they will be posted to after collecting 5k from us.Segun oshin is a crook.Thanks for your info.
