The National Institute of Construction Technology (NICT) Uromi, a federal polytechnic established in 2014, will soon move to its permanent campus on Amendokhian-Ugboha Road, Uromi, Edo State. The polytechnic currently runs pre-ND and ND programmes in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology and Quantity Survey

Meanwhile efforts have been intensified to gain accreditation for Estate Management, Computer Engineering, Geo-Informatics, Business Administration and Accounting. To this end, the NICT Fundraising Committee has appealed for the assistance of well meaning individuals to enable the institute adequately prepare the accreditation/resource verification exercise which holds on or before the end of April 2018 while pledging that all donors will be duly recognized and appreciated by the school management. This was contained in a special appeal message released by the committee chairman Mr. Joseph Ugege yesterday.
