It is good to pray but Christians should also learn to speak up and demand justice when it is necessary.

The complacency of Christians on many occasions is what gives these guys the boldness to do whatever they like.

Christians are like sheep among wolves...

“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves” (Matthew 10:16, KJV).

Christians need to wise up.

When it is time to vote, dont stay inside and pray for a good person to win, go and vote because INEC doesn't count prayer points!
Nice write up but I don't understand, wise up as in carry guns and start killing too? Or be looking for justice elsewhere when we know only God gives justice through Jesus? If Christians WISE UP like u said, u probably won't be able to on data talkless read a post.

The little girl is not a coward. She has decided to stand for something.

Asking her to say whatever she needs to say is like telling her to open her legs to be rap.ed in order to be released. Today it is denouncing her faith, tomorrow it could be something else.

Buhari should do his job as the GCFR.

Don't make a mountain out of an anthill.

The girl in question should not die a saint

Maybe he meant the girl should have been wise to renounce jesus temporarily

So therefore, is it not better she renounces and live to see another day. grin

And maybe no one will know about the renouncement in the media grin
.
If Jesus didn't renounce being the king of the Jews before Pilate to regain freedom then I see no reason She should{God helping her} and her faith isn't to the media. But it is a pity that people condemn the girl for her belief without condemning those that adopted her.
Or who is more guilty here.

Are you nuts? How dare you try to compare human life to fictitious tales of one nut job whom for all we know may have really died from food poisoning

The girl in question should not die at all.

If I'm to advise Pastor Adeboye, I would tell him to arm Christians with sophisticated weapons or orchestrate a military coup using Nigerian Christian soldiers.

That, for me, is better than spreading the message of cowardice.

When there are less violent and more diplomatic means?

I have nothing more to say to you bcs we don't see life the same way. But a wise man once say that "Your freedom starts when you have no love for money and no fear for death" and that many won't understand.

More diplomatic means, such as: s::cking the ar.se of the barbaric buffoon in aso rock, and advising a pastor to openly throw his long-held beliefs and sermons to the dogs in order for boko haram to rejoice and feed fat on the flesh of the remaining cowardice-believing infidels and harams?

You think boko haram will spare you by simply murmuring a few words?

Words in my not so humble opinion are our inexhaustible source of power.

Words have worked so far in returning 104 of the abducted girls.

Hell words would have insured the christian's life.

Words are also what she used to condemn herself to their tender mercies.

I am a devoted Muslim but I seriously support her level of faith. Let there be no compulsion in religion. That's what my religion says. So why are they forcing her to renounce her faith!? Let live together in peace and unity. Assalam Alaikum

Words alone did not return 104 abducted girls, words (propaganda) and money did. So, Buhari should use same resources to bring back the Christian girl.

He should save his prayers, heaven helps those who help themselves.

This is pure fallacy.

Leah Sharibu is a mumu.
She should have denounced Christianity, regained her freedom then gone for an altar call in church on Sunday to reaccept Jesus Christ as her Lord and saviour.

She should denounce Christianity because of mere freedom? How are you sure after denouncing they wouldn't kill her?. If she denounce her faith, our Lord Jesus will deny her. I like her courage.

Simple.
But common sense is not so common and 'too much sense wee not kee me'

If this loophole is acceptable to Jesus, why did Jesus say that "he who denies me before men, I will deny before my father in heaven?"

Leah Sharibu is a victim of religious indoctrination. If the bible was truly the word of God, her decision would've been the right one. But it isn't.
Don't be emphatic on what you don't know.
The Bibles is certainly God's WORD.
What's the proof of that?
The principles contained therein work when rightly applied.
Tithe blessings, healing by faith, etc are what I experience based on Biblical principles.

it almost seems like you have a 90% chance of misinterpreting scriptures.

If the person here says in a desperate situation that she isn't a Christian, as long as her motive was the dire need of a way out, her action is not a denial of Christ in the context that Jesus spoke about denial.

What she'd be guilty of is lying.

Remember Peter, his own "denial" was thrice, but He was not only accepted back, he became the solid rock of the Church's foundation.

If your interpretation were true, Peter couldn't have gotten his place back with Christ

Why not ask yourself, maybe the reason I don't see sense is Christianity isn't that it's false, but rather that I don't understand its details.

If you think there's anything that doesn't add up in the Bible, mention it, and I promise you a meaningful explanation, provided you'd do away with prejudice.
