I have a very young brother who is passionate about music. I have tried to discourage him but he won't stand down. I don't know much about music but I want you guys to help me access him if he is musically good. Strong criticisms will be much appreciated.
His stage name is AZYKESH and basically into Raps. I have sometimes criticised the choice of name being closely similar to LILKESH.
So, I want your opinion on how good he is;

Here is one of his singles titled RORA:

Bro, it's a pity that no one bothered to comment on this. It was yesterday that I downloaded the song. I noticed few things while listening to the song. It's a good thing that you're a big brother who wants the best for his kid brother. Your brother should be proud of you. As I was saying, first and foremost, don't doubt your brother's musical talent. It's a good thing that he has passion for music. But he needs more than that in order for him to excel in the music industry. He needs dedication, devotion, determination, hardwork, patience, perseverance and money for him to be successful. Secondly, try to advise him to take advantage of the internet. Nowadays, we have lots of people who have become successful as a result of posting their passion on social media. Take for example, Justin Bieber who got his big break by posting cover version of popstars' songs on his YouTube channel. Tell him to post his freestyle sessions on his social media accounts. He can also tag his role models / mentors in the industry. This might help his career. Lastly, I have no doubt that he's really talented but he needs to work on his lyrics. In his beautiful song, he did the same thing which most Nigerian artistes usually do. He put like five different songs in one song. No disrespect to him, it's just my humble opinion. Next time when he wants to write a song, he should concentrate on the title and chorus of the song. This two things will determine the verses in the song. About his name, I also don't feel it. When he mentions his name, the first thing his fans would do is compare him with Lil Kesh. And believe me, that won't help his career. With all due respect to him, let him get a new stage name. I'm sure he already knows this, he needs lots of money to make good music. And that's why it would be good if he gets signed to a record label. I have a friend who spent almost all his life savings on music. When he didn't get the desired result, he had to something else. But by then he had lose a lot. I pray that won't be your brother's portion in Jesus' name, Amen. May he be successful in the entertainment industry. Lest I forget, I hope he knows he's going to face stiff competition because the music industry is a very competitive one. So let him prepare for the best but expect the worst. One more thing, ko ma wo ago alago fi sise (Yoruba) language. He shouldn't compare himself with others. GOD's time is always the best. Once again I wish both of you the best in your career. Someday, your brother would become a superstar and you would be very proud of him.
Thanks.
