Goodday Nairalanders, let me get straight to the point. Earlier yesterday I started seeing a warning on my gionee m5(marathon not mini) THERMAL WARNING, PHONE NEEDS TO COOL DOWN. then if i press ok it automatically shuts down but if i press cancel after 10 secs it goes off automatically...thought it was just a normal error message but now i can confirm its a fault. i left for over 10 hours same thing still happens, I have done FACTORY/DATA RESET still no solution. please i need your solutions, contributions and all. i am hearing from friends that it might be the board please anybody with more useful solution should assist me with it, Dont have money to change board oh..... cc carlcare, phone repairers in the house, tech gurus, gionee |

Try a new battery, the high temperature detector on the battery could be faulty. |
