The government of 'change' had no project to commission apart from a bust stop!

And then they paid visits to construction sites.

Would he have travelled during a muslim sacred celebration. In case you did not notice civil servants were not paid. I can bet if it was related to his faith people would have gotten their salaries to celebrate. The fact that the president is a bigot is a given just like the law of gravity.

It's high time the MODs of Nairaland Forum started checking the excesses of these nepotistic elements. We have so many handles right here in this forum, whose stock in trade is to spread hurtful ideas. Their comments never fail to tow the lines of race, religion and social groups.

Lalasticlala, Seun and all the other handlers urgently need to checkmate these elements. We may decide to call them trolls but they are actually doing more harm than we realize.

No point at all.
We don't know what Munday Thursday is, in fact this is the first time I'm seeing it.
I only know of Easter Sunday and Monday and there is no official duty on these days.

Mr Bishop, Haba this is a petty issue. Must we politicize everything in this country?

Remember that it was the height of lenten period and he also affected activities that day because some people didn't go for passion of christ due to traffic issues... let me ask you can Buhari make that movement during the height of ramadan?

As far as I'm concerned, whatever is being reacted to in this country is always irrelevant to growth and nation building or perhaps, late!

Precedence is key to everything, it is part of development. If it related to the president's faith those almajiris for don kill people full ground.

I don't have a problem with whatever day or date uncle went to Lagos.
My problem is Buhari and Ambode just wasted tax payers money just to commission a bus stop...

It's a shame

Question is will this be accepted on the date of a muslim feast

must we complain in every thing, the president just like every Nigerian has the right to do anything he feels like doing during Easter festivities, did you complain about church members that travelled to their villages for weddings and businesss? some of this men of God have abandoned their calling for politics.

You are wrong Bro. The president just set a precedence with dire consequences. If we want to do away with religion in Nigeria lets do it completely. You can't be hounoring one religion and disrespect others Buhari is old enough to know the place of balance in a country like Nigeria

d cleric is just trying to stir unnecessary reactions and paint buhari in bad light. Is d governor of Lagos hu invited buhari to commission d bus terminus, not a xtian? So if ds pastor needs to caution anybody, it should b d Christian governor of Lagos. He can also speak to the Tinubu who organized a colloquium or if he can't speak with him, then he shd invite Tinubu's wife, Remi, after all she is also a xtian like d governor of Lagos

Tinubu is not holding an elected office. Tinubu for heaven's sake is a private citizen, the president is not.

Would a Christian president visiting Kaduna during Eid be acceptable?

I purposely cited Kaduna because it has a sizeable Christian population like Lagos has Muslims. .

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the president's visit during the easter celebrations because the president was only doing his job.

The Bishop should concentrate on the so called christians including his members, choristers who committed fornication throughout the easter period

What are you saying. This is how some people said the president has a right to appoint all service chieves from his village, now we can see the consequence. You have started again. Of He wants to show that serious feasts don't matter he should start by disrespecting feasts that relate to his faith.

Some people and religion. At times I wonder if most of these ones who parade themselves as Christians actually understand the faith they profess. Did the president fix tinubu's birthday or the colloquim organised on his birthday? Or is this bishop saying that the president should not rejoice and celebrate with his friend because there is maundy Thursday and Good Friday? Its becoming obvious that many are just desperate to be heard and such end up insulting themselves.

Tinubu is a private citizen. The president should have attended the ceremony as a private citizen and come to Lagos by bus.

Why not raise the issue before the visit and possibly push for a different date. Why come up with this discourse now, days after the visit? It never was an issue until revealed by this defender of Christianity.
We complain of people dividing us along political and religious lines when we do the same thing. Many blabbing about this now never thought of it until now. We are all hypocrites in our different ways.
