Please Help, Advice Me On My Current Situation With Remita by fizyalasdair(m): 8:09am On Apr 07, 2018
Hello please help me, I'm in a very terrible situation, I paid twice for my school fees using the RRR

On Friday April 6th, I tried to pay first with my friends Fidelity Bank Card. It didn't go through and I did not receive any receipt from Remita to my email, but the money was deducted from his account.

I then paid with my Access Bank i-bank, hoping that the money collected from the Fidelity Bank will be refunded, but I contacted Remita support and they were so arrogant and didn't sound like they cared even a little about their customers, and they said that no money is held with them that every money paid in that channel has been remitted to my school UNN, saying I should contact the school and tell them of my issue.

Remita immediately closed my support ticket saying they have done all they can do, they did not give me any hint on whether they received money from the first payment, very poor customer service but I wasn't really surprised. Most Nigerian companies employ reckless people in one of the most important parts of their team; the customer care team.

Please this situation is very critical for me as I can not lose 49000 naira to thin air, please advice me this issue, I'm so messed up right now I don't know what to do.

the money was received by the school... contact the school and explain the matter to them. as Remita said, the money was transfered to the school and they do not hold any money.

I just got a mail from Remita, They have told me to head to the bank and fill a charge back form.

The last customer care representative to talk to me (Maureen Popoola) was a bit rude, the present customer care representative talking with me has been more helpful (Deborah Attah).

So come Monday morning, my plate will be full, at least there's hope
