Let me also add that the Agama is by far the most popular specie of lizards in Africa. So when a Nigerian uses the word "Lizard" most times they are referring to the Agama Lizard. That doesn't make the Agama anymore of a Lizard than a Monitor is.
Same way Nigerians always refer to Petrol as "Fuel". But that doesn't make petrol anymore of a Fuel than say Kerosene, Cooking Gas or Diseal.
