Pastor Tunde Bakare has declared that God is preparing a messiah from the North who will possess the capacity to deliver Nigeria from its challenges.

The former running mate to President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2011 general elections said this during a sermon which was aired live on Channels Television yesterday.

“Let no one deceive you, there’s nobody with the capacity to deliver Nigeria until that day; that day is coming, it’s very near,” he said while addressing the congregation at his Latter Rain Assembly Church in Lagos.

“The reason things are going haywire in Nigeria today is because God is preparing the tender plant from the side of the North,” he said.

Pastor Bakare told his congregation that although he had been speaking about his presidential ambition in parables, they should watch out for direct statements ahead of the 2019 elections.

He maintained that he was not politicking about his ambition to become president but declaring what God has told him about his purpose in life.

“The reason we refused to compromise our lives and to diminish our values is so that nobody can diminish our influence. There’s only one assignment left for me. It’s not down, it’s up.

“I am declaring thus saith the Lord to this end was I born, for this purpose came I into the world that Nigeria will be saved, Nigeria will be changed, and Nigeria will become great in my lifetime. The mouth of the Lord has spoken it and the zeal of the Lord shall accomplish it,” Bakare added.

Before nko?

Nigeria is already on a positive trajectory with our increasing reserves and economic diversification which has started already. Grand corruption which has always been our biggest problem, is dying and people are now afraid to steal and flaunt their loot without fear of MAGUfication.

That Messiah from the North in 2019 is Buhari/Osibanjo, then Donald Duke/Dankwambo take over in 2023 for the eastern slot cool

Oga politician Pastor.

Last election God 'appointed' Buhari.

Now that God is looking northwards.

Whose voice did you hear this time around?that of Atiku or Dakwanbo?Certainly not that of God.

THE LAND OF THE RISING SUN MUST SET FORTH AT DAWN

Somehow, I don't usually trust people who claim to be God's spokesperson or who are privy to God's plan especially on election matters.

It's hightime respectable clergymen stopped passing across their personal views as God's position. They should know that there are discerning Nigerians.

Silly politician using his church as a campaign ground!

Nigerians, there is NO MESSIAH!

Judge each aspirant by their pedigree; their explanation on how they'd tackle the challenges we face; and the concrete targets they expect to meet within 4 years. Ignore empty, irrational, baseless promises.

For example, do not listen to any id*ot that says he'd fight corruption to a standstill. Rather, ask what kind of corruption he'd be able to address, what sectors it'd affect, what tools and resources he'd use, and the timeline he expects to make a headway. In a similar vein, trash any id*ot who says he'd give you uninterrupted power supply within four years. Instead, he should be made to explain how many megawatts he'd be able to add to the national grid, how much it'd cost and where he'd source the money from, and how long it'd take.

These are just two examples. But you get the idea.

The next president will be corrupt, he'd get elected using corrupt money, and he wouldn't solve all our problems in 4 years. However, he should be able to make substantial progress. And that should be the basis for choosing a candidate--Who would make the most impact and drive huge progress?

If you guys like, vote for another charlatan like the current dullard who'd promise 100k minimum wage (like the clown Sowore is doing already), uninterrupted power supply, unemployment benefits, et cetera... You would be sorely disappointed.

-Lord

The 'good Lord' is fictional.

These religious fraudsters hedge their bets by telling people that their imaginary friend helps those who help themselves whilst also lying that prayer leads to solutions. Only you can solve your problems.

These guys are no more 'respectable' than armed robbers.

In a sense they are worse, at least there's an element of honesty when an armed robbery uses fear and force to steal from his victims.

Increasing debts that will kill all of us is Buhari’s legacy.
He is a monumental failure and he will be corrected in 2019!!!
