Re: Deduction in Stipends.

A few beneficiaries will have noticed a reduction in their stipends.

You will recall that the Federal Government entered into a 20-month Asset Finance Agreement with the Bank of Industry for the N-Power devices.

Beneficiaries who selected the Tecno and Speedstar devices incurred additional monthly charges over and beyond the N4,500 monthly device credit voucher of the Federal Government.

Consequently, the additional costs will be deducted from their stipends between the months of March and July, 2018.

But there were news that time that Buhari had paid the outstanding amounts and there wouldn't be any further reduction on volunteers' stipends.

I thank you for the message. However there is this issue of payment and device on hold. Some beneficiaries in Lagos state received the shocking news of payment on hold since October last year especially n agro. As one of the n agro reps, I demanded to know exactly why such was found on their despite the fact that those affected have been attending to their place of primary assignment and also they mark their register. Npower in their wisdom responded to some of them that contacted them detailing what they are required to do. They were asked to present a duely signed and stamped attestation letters from their ppa , an apology letter. They all complied with all requirement . After a few weeks, we got a message that the focal persons 've sent all the details to npower and that those affected should be rest assured their profiles will be normalise to enable them get paid their backlogs. After a few weeks we got another message about eviction of such beneficiaries that failed to resolve their matter after 45days. As one of the reps with in-depth knowledge of npower and giving the effort I have to put in towards making this programme a success, I found such a message disturbing. It does not co note what npower stands for. The question begging for answer is....Are they the ones to resolve their issues? What is the duties of npower support team ? The law says is better to free all criminal instead of allowing an innocent man to suffer injustice. I will appreciate immediate reinstatement of all those affect in Lagos state. I.e. n agro, nteach etc. The idea of holding and piling their stipends does no one any good. We still 've beneficiaries with backlogs issues, one does not expect npower to further compound the issues further. I sincerely hope that npower does the just and right thing by ensuring justice is done. Some of the affected have been borrowing money to attend to their duties.

What about jobs for graduate that are above 35 years of age.

There should be jobs for those that are in their 50s.

THERE ARE MANY ABLE BODIED GRADUATE WHO WANT TO WORK BUT THEY CAN NOT FIND JOBS SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN EDGE OUT OF NPOWER PROGRAMME BY WAY OF AGE.

Can't Nigeria find job for a 45 years or 55 years old man?

Even those that are under 30s feel so sad receiving such a stipend that can not even take care of their house rent and feeding including transportation.

NIGERIA IS A SHITHOLE COUNTRY.

I feel the reason why the shortlisted 2017 candidates are still at home is because of the stalled 2018 budget
Hopefully when it's passed come April 24th you will get your arrears
