My brother, I love Lagos.

But it is dirty, with open gutters, no decent public transport, no mains water supply and no electricity..

We arent there yet, lets not pretend..

In time and with better leadership..

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy says a popular saying. After a busy week, man needs to have some hangover and relax over the weekend. AutoReportNG was in Falomo, Awolowo Road in Ikoyi over the weekend, yes, we noticed the dirts are there, all thanks to VisionScape who have become overwhelmed and refused to do their jobs, apart from this, one can't but notice the beauty in Lagos especially when the cars are few on the roads. AutoReportNG decided to take a stroll from Falomo all the way to Muri Okunola, then to some areas in Lagos. The pictures speak for itself, not this is not a sponsored post, this is just a reporter's reportage from his angle.

Op u tried but you should get pictures of more areas to back up your claim. Camera snaps of just Akin Adesola St/Falomo bridge is not a true reflection of how Lagos is on weekends

Its in phases bro... This is Island Phase, even if we cover the whole streets of Lagos, 3 months won't be enough, its just to pick some strategic areas, ask some questions and report, this is Lagos on Sunday Evening... Not even in any holiday... We are coming to your street soon cheesycheesycheesy

We taking the places one step at a time, Imagine going to Badagry from Island, it costs a lot, don't worry, we are coming to your locality soon, it will be an unbiased reportage, promise!!!

bros you for wait finish all locations then make a comprehensive report rather than this lopsided report. What did you really expect of a business district on Sunday? as pointed out, majority of Lagosians live on the mainland. A balanced approach is required and this means more pics from the mainland.. especially areas perceived to be busy during weekdays. Also, using Sunday to depict weekend is quite wrong. Saturday is when the weekends.

Oga, if you don't go out on weekends you will think that part of Lagos is too busy

The OP is right that is how that part of Lagos is on weekends ok

The op .didn't imply part of Lagos...he implied the totality of Lagos and that assumption is wrong. Check the topic out sir.

Lol no qualms...we open threads like. this not to criticise but to learn. if that essence is not achieved, what then is the point? As it is said, what is worth doing is worth doing well.

Oga why always taking pictures of V.I,lekki and ikoyi...Go and take pictures from yaba, oshodi, okoko, ajangbadi, ikotun, ikorodu, iyana ipaja, igando, agbara, alagbado, ijegun, okota, abi all these places nor be part of lagos?
Agbara and parts of Alagbado, are right in Ogun State. Please do not refer to them as part of Lagos state, if you do not want to see the red eyes of Gov. Amosun. cheesy

Even the island you all claim to live isn't as free as this on a weekend

Go to shoprite or Oniru. What am I saying sef?

Take photos of the toll gate on Saturday evening and see if it's this free

Don't generalize VI, Falomo and Ikoyi as Lagos

Shoprite and Oniru are even still fairly free of traffic, on a Sunday morning. sad But if you make the mistake of going to Agungi, Ikate or Sangotedo (all on the same Lekki axis in Lagos island, o!), you will be disappointed with the large number of cars on the road. Have you ever been at Ikate Elegushi or Kusenla Road at Chisco, when House on the Rock people are leaving their church, after Sunday morning service? shocked You will almost cry when you get stuck in the traffic, caused by their members....and the worst thing is that there are 4 big churches lining up that road, o! Catholic Church, Foursquare, RCCG - all of them full dat side! undecided

Uncle, don't say what you have no knowledge about, don't just generalize, it is not healthy.

Have a lovely weekend

@op I've been to Lagos before, and mhen traffic no be here.. Still looked back at the pics and videos I made on my iPad on slow traffic, this is v.i area which to me traffic is free because we went places there, but mainland and ikoyi traffic na dieoo, somewhere you are supposed to get to in less than 1 hour you will use 4hrs reach there.. Only time i saw free traffic was when we went to embassy from 2am.. Even at that we still saw cars, imagine traveling from ikorodu to v.i within 4hrs

The major problem with Lagos is that we depend on only one means of transportation

The Road
