I need your suggestions please .
my younger brother who happens to be our last born will be 16 by december.

The problem here is that he can't read talk more of common arithmetic, we have all tried collectively as a family, dedicated time, energy and resources but to all no avail. he has gone through four different school but no CHANGE.
you teach him one word today he crams it and after one day he forgets. he is so playful to the extend that he was restricted .

None of us while growing up had this problem. The last school he attended was an ACE special school for students with disabilities and his own case as well.it cost my parents a fortune to pay his fees for three years with no improvement.

finally my parent are fed up with his case, and have given up,the family is passing through a family financial crisis, hence his removal from the ACE school during Easter break,my parents want to fix him in an evening school, since his case is not improving. pls your advice

Oga you all should stop disturbing and suffering that little boy, stop wasting your money sending him to school, education isn't meant for everyone, going to school doesn't guarantee success, its obvious he doesn't have brain for academics, there are other things you can enroll him into undecided

Parents should stop deciding and forcing their kids to do what they naturally can't, embarassed it's one of the reason why some youth are not doing well in Nigeria, they'll push and force you to go to school when they obviously know you aren't academically good, Nigeria is not a country where education says it all, it's overrated, undecided enroll that boy into learning of skills, craft and some handiwork, from there he can be a better person, there are graduates who are regretting why they wasted their time and money going to school.

Please, please and please, stop forcing him into education, check and observe his talent and what he's good at doing, he must be good in doing something. embarassed

He needs a home tutor and a mild dosage of drugs that slows down the brain activities... or body activity generally

Let him go and learn a craft he is interested in. Surely, there's something he must be good at... Explore it.

Btw, it must have been a nightmare trying to fix a guy like him. It is well.

There something made for him certainly not Being in school, there are many type of education; skills education talent educatioƱn and business education. class rooms in school isn't the only education. his passion is also an education.

solution: have a heart to heart discussion with him, don't threaten him, create a conducive environment for him to open up to you. do not despise him no matter what the outcome is. he is 16 year s o he is not a kid anymore he knows the best for himself ask him What do you want to become in life? he might seems confused but you gotta guide him. that guy is a star. catch him young for his destiny

wish you guys the best
