Please don't make excuses for the dullard. Tell his Holiness that Buhari is complicit in the Herdsmen attacks.

Let him call World Leaders particularly May and Trump to impress on the b*stard.

Mind you the reason why they're there has nothing to do with the state of the nation rather a customary visit every year to bring His Holiness up to speed on the "modus operandi" so to speak for the catholic church in Nigeria.

It is high time Cardinals Okogie and Onaiyekan rallied all the catholic Bishops and priests in Nigeria to rescue Nigeria from the hands of the Hausa - Fulanis.

By choosing Bishop Mathew Kukah (from the North) as VP and Prof. Pat Utomi (from the South) as President and developing a people oriented manifesto, an overwhelming number of electorates can be mobilized to vote en-mass for these duo. The large population of Catholics and their friends in Nigeria can actually add up to 20 million which will be good enough to enable them get the keys to Aso rock in 2019.

With the zeal involved in evangelism and the wealth of the largest church in the world, Nigeria's Catholics can preach this new gospel of political renewal thru the nook and crannies of the country to gain support from fellow Christians, unbiased Muslims and all the marginalized/oppressed in the land!

The problem with Nigeria requires Presidential powers in the right hands to be able to tackle it. We have what it takes to be great and civil but so long as the wrong people are still at the helms of affairs, we ain't going anywhere!

A prayer for Nigeria in distress that does not propel to action is a dead prayer. Herdsmen will go into hiding or risk the wrath of the security apparatus of the state because their man will no longer be in power and these senseless killings will stop.

Yes, and you think they'd conveniently forget to let his Holiness know that two Catholic priests were killed during a Mass?

Or is that not part of the MO of the Catholic Church in Nigeria?

Did you notice the speed with which Femi Adesina responded to the Catholic priests killing, the call for limiting of movements by Buhari to ECOWAS, and NEC agreeing to stop movement of herdsmen to the Middle Belt plus ranching.

You don't kill Catholic priests without repercussions. It's an 1800 yr old institution.

Ofcourse. One thing will always lead to another. So such issues will certainly come up Cuz they too are shepherds(leaders in their own dispensation), and shepherds ought to be concerned about the safety and well being of their flock . My point is that that is not the sole reason of their being there because that's seemingly what people are already thinking.

.. You don't kill catholic priests without repercussions.. Yea, you may be right. You remember how it was for the people of Israel when they grumbled against Moses?. Yet that does not mean that other people's (non clergy) lives who were affected are demeaned.

they ran to the pope because of the herdsmen killings?

Only the pope can help us.

He can call on God to rain fire and destruction on the herdsmen.

Without such a Man of God we can do nothing to save ourselves.

He must beg forgiveness lest hellfire consume him.
