I heard in one Statistical Report that only 3/17 Igbo can even speak Igbo, and even less can speak in Fluently. To those who can speak Igbo Fluently, Ana m enye ọtụtụ otuto. For those who can not speak their own language, Why do you call yourself Igbo?

This is an earnest Question, I am not trying to pick a fight with anyone.

This 3/17 stuff is not true based on my normal interactions with Igbos.

Otutu ndi Igbo na asu Igbo nke oma. Mu onwe m na asu Igbo nke oma na ede kwa ya ede nke oma.

Truth is, I think of all Nigerian tribes, the Igbo's are predominantly the ones often bent on displaying their English speaking prowess.
