Onion and seasoning cubes have no business with ukwa.Put your fresh pepper ,red oil, ogili and stock fish.Sometimes i dont put salt and it comes out perfect.

you are on point dear, there is no where it is stated that you can't use seasoning to cook ukwa, in fact onion is very good for ukwa, if you haven't tried it, you won't know

It all depends on the type of ukwa dish. Like in my town, you only need just ngu(palm frond ash) and few leafs of fresh bitterleaf to prepare it, no pepper no salt added.

Nothing wrong in putting boiled egg in moimoi, it doesn't affect the taste in anyway.... the only ingredient I cant stand is tomato in moimoi..it is a no no for me.

How to prepare Ukwa to give you a perfect taste. Dry fish or stockfish Ogiri Red oil Bitter leaf salt Efu Ngo water to help boil on time.
This method is for ceremony not for household.

Human beings self. See high level of jealously. Ikea does not have a default in cooking it. U can cook it anyway you want. They just want to spoil market for chioma maybe make it look like she can't cook.

exactly. I cook it same way. It's a matter of preference. some people cook with isam, ogiri in some dishes but I don't. dunno what the fuss is about
