WHAT IS CLA?

CLA means Conjugated linoleic acid. It is found in abundant amount in red meat, butter and cheese. Today, there is a less CLA in dairy products because most cows are artificially fattened in feedlots instead of grazing on grass. Many Americans also consume less red meat, butter and dairy foods. The result is that people are obtaining only a fraction of CLA compared to previous generations.

CLA has shown strong anticancer properties, being particularly effective in inhibiting breast and prostate tumors, as well as colorectal, stomach and skin cancer, including melanoma.
