I was a member of MFM for more than 12years until I realized that the greatest enemy you can have is yourself. Till this day I have never regretted leaving that church and I can tell you with great confidence that majority of people diagnosed with mental illness are Christians and a large percentage of them are members of MFM ( am talking based on personal experience). If you are not careful, the toxic messages and prayer points can result to mental illness whereby you feel someone is holding your destiny down or every cockroach in your house was sent from the underworld. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from all evil." Your kind of MFM prayer is no where in the Bible for Christians. That prayer is not to God. That's not Christianity.

I can see you are member off mfm or even a minister therein. I was a guest lecturer in MFM school of ministry and also that of foreign mission from year 2001 to 2003. What im saying is this, Your understanding of the Bible, relationship with God and your dealings with the Holy Spirit determine how your content of prayers. Take it or leave it, the Spirit is responsible for giving us the prayers we need as on idividuals when we are at the secret place of prayers personally. Where deep bible knowledge will work...prayer will not work.

Now let me explain the story of john the Baptist

There was a news yesterday on nairaland about a lady who dreamt of an attayon her eye, and she woke that morning with a severely swollen eye. Nothing ever happens to u in the physical without conclusions in the spiritual. MFM is there to teach u how to fight these spiritual battles urselve and asking anyone to pray for u and to keep ur spiritual eyes open. I have gone there and seen and still witnessing.

They should just tell us if they are followers of David or Jesus Christ. As far as am concerned Christianity is based on the teachings of Christ, if pastors followed Christ teachings there would be less problems in the world.

Note however, not all prayer points are meant for everybody. Praying some prayers points is like enslaving yourself again. Do not use your mouth to apply problems you do not have to your life. And it is a serious problems when you need a prayer handbook full of prayer points before you can talk to your own Father. Sad, many have been busy praying the fire prayer every year trying to tell the same forces to die..die..and die.

Dude- when it comes to spirituality, logic does not work! you people keep blaming churches for your mistakes. Is it responsibility of olukoya to make roads or cars even in the most civilized part of the world they're faulty cars.
