since when I was young...I have been curious to know if mermaid truelly exist...

I have made my research on Google and on YouTube yet I am not pleased with the answer

my dad said when he was very young...that he was told mermaid came to a beach...but by the time he and his siblings would get to the beach...the mermaid have gone and this made me more curious to know if it really exist

one of my previous neighbour also told me she have seen it before but I don't believe because she normally tells lies alot...

According to my research some says it exist and some says it doesn't...

when I watched the video on YouTube...the videos are not real...it's either they show me cartoon or film mermaid...

those who worship mermaid...do they really see it


please guys help my curiousity

I was there. The mermaid wanted to give me a Mouth Gig but I kicked her fin and she swam away. Never came back to the village again.

When I was 13 and in JSS3, I and a couple of my classmates were in the habit of sneaking out of school during break time to visit a mango plantation close to our school ( GSS Shengdam). Flanking the mango plantation is a stream(Ruwan Yara).

Whenever we are unable to lay our hands on a ripe mangoes, we usually pluck some and tie them up in a sack and hide it close to the river and allow them to ripen. One faithful day, something happened that changed our lives forever...

This faithful Friday around 12 noon, we rushed down to the plantation immediately the closing bell rang(schools in the North do close early on Fridays to allow for Jumma't).

I forgot to mention that we do fish at the stream on Fridays. On getting to our mango stash and to our greatest disappointment, none of them is ripe enough to be eaten. We quickly fished out our fishing lines from were we hid them, got some nematodes and settled to our fishing business.
30 minutes hasn't gone by before we noticed what looked like the tail of a GIGANTIC fish flapping frantically at the opposite bank of the stream (think of a beached whale)...

For few seconds we sat transfixed! Zuwat(a jolly good Angass boy) quickly recovered his composure and was about to make a dash across the stream for the 'fish' but for our restraining screams.

Few moments later, we espied yet another HUGE tail of 'fish' diagonally situated by the first tail, this new 'tail' is of a different hue; kinda bluish( first one was whitish) Now while this was going on, there seems to be a kind of strange noise emanating from the spectacle (with benefit of hindsight I'd say it sounds more like moaning!)

To cut the long story short...

Yes they do.

One mama even told me that she saw one when she went to get water from the river when she was younger. She conversed with the email who told her she would have a baby who will be a "dada" and that the baby would have certain abilities. She also asked them never to cut the Hair of the baby.that was to come.

So dada grew up and had abilities like being able to fortell some events. One day they cut "dada's" hair and that was the last time they saw him. For over 20 years dada has been missing with no trace.

This is not fiction. I know this old woman, she's not that old so her senses are fully intact. O know her daughter too who happens to be the brother of the missing son "dada", I also know her grand children who all confirmed the story.
