For the next coming days, I want to give you some critical points to reflect on as a leader or someone who will become a leader in the future. They are some basic ingredients that will be needed to make a great leader. God is looking for a new generation of spiritual leaders who will be above the fray and exemplify the life of Christ to this world. The instrument that will set the standard cannot afford to have a margin of error.

The world is supposed to find leadership in the Church but hitherto, the church is yet to stand in that role in our world. It is my prayer that as you follow through, you will be God’s man to lead your world anywhere you find yourself.

The first ingredient is intercession. The intercessory role of a leader is one of the highest callings upon a leader. It is a sin of leadership not to pray for your people. God will never bypass the responsible for assignment and divine information. When a leader prays for his team, God communicates important information to help you steer your ship in righteousness and the enemy will not outwit you.

Therefore, the following are binding truths: fathers or mothers must pray for their children, Pastors must pray for their flock, bosses must pray for their staff and the political leaders must pray for their nation.



PRAYER: Lord, I pray for the spirit of grace and of supplication to stand in gap for men that are joined to me in Jesus’ name. Amen!
