21 Weird Royal Rules Meghan Markle Must Follow by Nobody: 3:08pm On May 19, 2018
As Meghan Markle Joins the growing royal family, She's in store for a big culture shock, and just because she's American. It's not easy being a member of a royal family. Sure there are fancy parties and palaces you get to live in, the lavish travel, fans from all over the world supporting (and judging) everything you do. But there are also super strict set of rules that every member of the royal family must follow and frankly some of them are super strange.

Here are some of the strange rules family members must follow:

1 - You can't vote, or speak about your politics.

2 - If you are seated to the left of the queen at dinner, she'll talk to you during the second course of the meal. (so if you are told to seat there, Just know you got some talking to do with the queen.)

3- When the queen is done eating, you are done eating.

4- Dinner is to be over within five minutes after the queen puts her purse on the table.

4- If you are NOT standing when the queen stands, you are breaking the rules.

5- If you are travelling, You must pack all-black outfit in the event of a sudden death.

6- Shellfish isn't allowed to be eaten.

7- The queen apparently hates garlic (me as well), so don't even think about suggesting it.

8- Baby princes can only wear tailored shorts, Trousers are not permitted.

9- You are NOT allowed to take a selfie, no matter how good the lightning might be.

10- The royal dress code is modest.

11- If you are female member of the royal family at a formal event before 6p.m, You better have a hat on your head.

12- If a female member of of the royal family isnt wearing a tiara (worn after 6p.m at formal events), then she's single and ready to mingle.

13- If you are traveling, there is to be no holding of hands.

14- The queen's corgis are never to be reprimanded.

15- If a queen moves her purse from her left arm to right, that's a signal to her staff she's done with a conversation.

16- Commoners aren't supposed to touch members of the royal family.

17- Do not turn your back on the queen. It's a rule.

18- Tea cups are meant to be held parallel to the ground.

19- You can't write your own vows.

20- If you want to get married, you will need the queens approval.

21- You do not hug the queen. (This rule however was broken when Obama and Michelle visited Buckingham palace as both the president and his wife hugged the queen.)

These are tit bits you need to know when you think of being apart of the royal family.
Hope you learnt something new?
