As I go to school, I become prey to the saber-toothed tiger In order to escape from bayonets of tribulations, I halt my adventurousness and curiosity Losing all hopes and aspirations.
As I go to school, I become aware of the unceasing disaster Posted by the giant hawk I cower away in my haven Having my hopes and dreams abolished.
As I go to school, I become a shadow Encaged in a hollow thought Since the school lies patiently in ambush Of my sought for freedom and pursuit of hope. As I go to school, I learn alphabets with empty palms Switch blades in my eyes and silence in my voice Playground empty of children toys And filled with guerillas and crocodiles Aborting my plans for fun filled boredom.
As I go to school, I promise to be revolutionary But my tributaries becomes lazy Traveling across my own Nile, My limbs becoming too reluctant to carry me Into a blazing oblivion of insolence.
As I go to school, my inner satisfaction Dwindles in sharp blades of expectation After the sudden realization That the world needs me for its ceaseless consolation So I bear al the pain for my timeless evolution.
