Before now, proficiency certificates were required to register companies for certain businesses. CAC usually required academic or professional certificates from one of the first directors of the company.
For example, before now, you would need to be a graduate of Computer Science, or have one professional certification before you can be an IT consultant. Now, the requirement is going to be waived.
Company incorporation is becoming less cumbersome everyday; an added to the new bill passed at the senate, it becomes easier still!

This is it: You need a govt issued ID card to register your business. It could be any of the following -
* Int'l passport
* Drivers license
* National ID card (or NIMC slip)
* Voters Card
The ID number you were asked to provide is the issue number of your ID.
