I watched with dismay how countries were busy hiring foreign coaches for the world cup. This spur my curiosity to check the country/coaches that have won the FIFA world cup. It will interest you to know that all the countries that have won the world executed that with their local coaches. NO COUNTRY HAS WON THE WON CUP WITH FOREGN COACH. This has more to do with the fact that the best coaches in world football come from these countries than the mere fact that these coaches are local I genuinely think if Pep Guardiola is the coach of this current Belgium team they will win the World Cup. 1 Like |

Mod am surprised you didn't push this thread to front page. The record still stands as France won the world cup with indigenous coach. By God's grace this thread will resurface by 2020 |
