Impressive, very impressive, but those comparing it with flagship phones are CRAZY. No way near flagship. MIUI 9.5 still has some bugs. For example today the phone refused to ring out even though it wasn't in silent mode. Ring volume was set to maximum, still didn't ring out when someone calls, notification sounds was working fine. . Not until I restarted it before it came back to normal. And why in the hell will xiaomi unify ring volume and notification volume? I like my notification sounds low and ring volume higher but that is impossible on this phone. Same toggle controls both notification and ringer, so if ur ringer is loud, ur notifications will also be loud and vice versa.

For the price you paid, it's a massive massive bargain. I don't think any phone with this specs can be priced similarly as the note 5. It will take some time to get used to miui but am sure you will get the hang of it. Enjoy your device.

Agreed, for the price it's a bargain. But no point comparing it with the flagships becsuse it is no way near. The specs, performance, display and price are not flagship standard. Meanwhile have u seen the new mi 8? Now that is a flagship killer and in my opinion even better than OnePlus 6.

Yeah the mi 8 packs a lot of punch tbh but I like the size of the mi 8 SE and that is my sweet spot. Those who are comparing the note 5 with flagships are prolly those who haven't used a flagship device. It is impressive,no where near a flagship. The mi 6x with sd660 is also good too.

Omo na that mi 8 explorer be the Koko oh, with transparent back, or the standard version. The SE I'm not too feeling but na pricing go judge sha. Meanwhile the phone looks like exact one of iPhone X. From the notch to the design to the back camera. And then haven't we heard the nomenclature SE before? And then animojy?

Loads of apps alreasy exists for basic customization. Well, not unless you fancy clocking and flashing ROMS (but rom support is very limited for Umidigi devices).....

The device works well as is. I would not want to oversteer a decent pot of Egusi soup..........

Redmi note 5 pro for sale @70k... 3+32gig, very clean but has a slight crack on d screen which isn't obvious.. comes with a new tempered glass. Not up to a month old

Are you trying to tell me that if I bring out a s9 on one hand and the most high-end phone of any of these Chinese brands on the other, they are really objectively no differences with the latter even better? Just look at the link below, listing the specs of the redmi 5 plus and the 2015 s6 edge. Didn't s6 edge beat the redmi 5 plus in all aspects except that of battery life? (Don't know about camera capability tho).

Sorry I have no wife material. Prior to the OnePlus 5T, I used a Samsung for 4 years. Don't think I can go back to Samsung because it's always the same ol' phone but with different colors and shapes. Samsung and apple have no new innovations. Newer manufacturers in the Chinese phone market still have a lot of better innovations at affordable prices. My opinion.

Don't even go there. Criticize them for being too expensive and I would agree but don't u dare talk about their lack of innovation

Almost every new feature in high end phones today was started by either Samsung or Apple. The rest just copy and copy
