Anambra State Government has coordinated brokers engaged with the offer of petroleum and kerosene inside business markets over the state to stop.

Governor Willie Obiano gave the mandate while accepting a report of an ongoing flame accident at the inundated Nkwo Ogbe Ihiala on Tuesday in Awka, the state capital.

Mr Obiano had established a board of enquiry on April 29, to disentangle the remote and prompt reasons for the fire outbreak at Nkwo Ogbe Ihiala.

The Governor had similarly charged the board to make suggestions to government on conceivable approaches to turn away future re-event of such fire frequency.

While Talking at the same time accepting the report at the Government Quarters, Amawbia, Mr Obiano said that filling stations sited inside business areas and markets and local locations should be removed.

The Governor noticed that it wasn't right for keroseine marketers and other ignitable products to work inside markets.

Mr Obiano, in any case, guided those black marketers to migrate to assigned aeras.

"It is unfortunate that we recorded catastrophe because of poor treatment of black marketers inside business season and markesand we don't need such calamity once more.

"We will brace our fire service unit by acquiring more fires equipment hardware, to help the office discharge their obligation,'' Mr Obiano said.

The representative recognized the Fire service Office for their convenient reaction to flame issues and the board of trustees for early accommodation of their report.

The Traditional Leader of Ukwulu People community, Peter Uyanwa, lauded Mr Obiano's exertion at ceasing the distributing of kerosene and oil based goods inside markets.

Mr Uyanwa, who served as chairman of the board of enquiry, exhorted the Anambra State Fire Service, to direct yearly fire hazard evaluation in markets and open structures in the state.
