Is today the day Nigeria break the jinx with Argentina?
Will we be victorious like in Atlanta 96?

If I could, I would advice Gernot Rhor to aim for a win. He might end up getting at least a draw.

Those Nigerian forwards should also learn to be less wasteful.

If we qualified, we will be out in the first knock out stage.
If Argentina qualifies, they will be out in quarter final.

God is on the side of both team because he hates no one. LET THE BEST TEAM TAKES THE DAY.

My PARROT predicted DRAW so will it be.

Don't sit this year out waiting for admission through jamb. Try other guaranteed options like IJMB and Jupeb. These programs will give you the opportunity to gain secure admission into the University of your choice ( 200level)

What makes it better than Jamb.
*Result doesn't expire

*Can be used for more than 2 institutions

*Result is Equivalent to ND

* Competition for Admission isn't as much as Jamb

*Students would be lectured intensively on 3 subjects relating to their university course

* Admission is into 200level

But you can use ND results to get manageable job where as IJMB is not use.
Getting admission through this means no be beans.
Though it is advance secondary school, making it a good learning center.

Before lots, there is head to head if there is tie in fair play too.
Like head to head comes into play before goal difference in FIFA competitions except the rules has been changed. Nigeria and Angola comes to mind.

Even if Iceland beat Croatia by 10 goals to nothing, just a draw with Argentina will put us on the same points with Iceland, but we will qualify for the next round through head to head record. Goal difference doesn't matter anymore. This rule was implemented since the last world Cup.
Confidently saying rubbish!

Nigeria Vs Argentina: World Cup, Today At 7pm

Argentina will be firmly hoping history is on their side in Saint Petersburg on Tuesday. Having been backed into a corner after dropping points in their first two games, their FIFA World Cup™ record against Nigeria may be their last remaining crumb of comfort. This will be their fifth encounter, having won all four up to now.

Nigeria on the other hand will arrive intent on getting that persistent monkey off their back, as a win would guarantee their spot in the last 16 for a fourth time. They will be buoyed after seeing Croatia’s dominant display against the disjointed two-time winners, while having themselves seen off Iceland 2-0.

The fallout from Argentina’s defeat potentially promises plenty of changes to their line-up, while Ahmed Musa will be pushing for a starting berth after his two-goal showing against the debutants.

Team reporter analysis

It will be interesting to see how this young Nigerian team handles their nerves in a game that Musa has described as “do-or-die”. The victory against Iceland has boosted confidence throughout the team, which now strongly believes it can advance. The only question is whether Gernot Rohr will opt to face the immense attacking quality of Argentina with a 4-2-3-1 or a 3-5-2 formation.

Argentina largely has its future in their own hands, something that seemed unlikely after the painful defeat against Croatia. A heavy win should be enough, though they will still need Croatia to play their part. The biggest challenge for La Albiceleste will be building the momentum, both in football terms and mentally, in order to compete with a very dangerous Nigerian team. Jorge Sampaoli looks set to change system and a few names again, searching for the formula to get the necessary win.

Did you know?
Of all four wins Argentina have achieved over the Super Eagles so far, not one has been won by more than a single goal, and Nigeria haven’t taken the lead since the eighth minute of their first meeting in 1994.

Possible line-ups
Nigeria: Francis Uzoho; Kenneth Omeruo, William Ekong, Leon Balogun; Tyronne Ebuehi, Wilfred Ndidi, John Obi Mikel, Oghenekaro Etebo, Victor Moses; Kelechi Iheanacho, Ahmed Musa

Argentina: Franco Armani; Eduardo Salvio, Gabriel Mercado, Nicolas Otamendi, Nicolas Tagliafico; Ever Banega, Javier Mascherano, Enzo Perez, Angel Di Maria; Lionel Messi, Gonzalo Higuain.

BY MATHEMATICS

LET ARGENTINA=A
LET ICELAND = I,
ARGENTINA PLAYED 1-1 WITH ICELAND~~
A=1 eq1
I=1 eq 2
hence, A=1=I..which implies
I=A(i.e ARGENTINA = ICELAND) eq3
let Croatia be C
Croatia beat Argentina by 3 goals implies
C= 3+A. eq4
Since A=I from eq 3,
C= 3+I(i.e Croatia will beat iceland 3) nil)
Let N be Nigeria
N=2+I(nigeria beat iceland 2 nil) eq5
From eq 3,
A=I
hence,
N=2+A(nigeria will win Argentina by 2 goals)
