HOW TO SETUP WHOGOHOST DOMAIN ON BLOG

Step 1.

Open two tabs on your browser. On one of the tabs, login to you blog panel by visiting https://www.blogger.com. On the other tab, visit Whogohost's blogger panel with the link below.
https://www.whogohost.com/-CNAME.php

Step 2.

On the Whogohost blogger page, fill the form correctly with the information required.

Your Email Account: The email should be the same email you used in your whogohost account.

Your Security Pin: The need for a security pin, is to help secure your domain when invaders come. So, you are absolutely free to choose any pin of your choice, as long as you will be able to remember it when the need arise.

Your Domain Name: Your domain name should be the domain you registered on Whogohost. Note that you are not supposed to add WWW. before your domain. For instance, Yourdomain.com.

Leave the space provided for CNAME RECORDS empty. We will get back to that later.

Step 3.

Now Open the other tab (I.e where you logged in to your dashboard). And click on SETTINGS.

Step 4.

Scroll to where you have "BLOG ADDRESS", click on "+ Setup a 3rd party URL for your blog" under Blog address.

Step 5.

A textbox will appear, asking you to input your 3rd party domain. Fill the box with the domain you registered on Whogohost, and click on save.

Step 6.

Now, an error message will come up. It will state as follows:

"We have not been able to verify your authority to this domain. Error 9".

Well, you need not to panic at all, because you are just few steps to finally setup your Whogohost domain on .

Copy the CNAME data below the errors message. The screenshot below will show you the right details to copy.

Okay, you can now open the other tab again (I.e, your Whogohost panel).

Fill the CNAME record form with your blog's CNAME.

You will notice that, the first and second boxes have already been filled with the same CNAME record you have in your blog. So, you can simply leave them and fill the 3rd and 4th respectively with the one from your blog.

Step 8.

Type the text painted red, on the textbox below it to pass the security test, or use a recaptch if any. And click on SEND CNAME Records.

After this step, wait for about 20minutes and you will receive a mail from WHOGOHOST confirming that you just sent a CNAME record to them. However, you still have to wait after this message. Wait until you are sent another message showing that your Domain has been mapped out for .
