THE NATIONAL CAKE
We all want a piece of it
The National cake
North, south, east, west
We hover hungrily
With our giant knives
We cut with reckless abandon
The National cake
It screams out in agony
The desolation of the land
It's all part of our cake
Honey tongues of aristocrats
Strip the sugar off the souls
Poor proles
Never getting a taste
The National cake
Baked in an oven of mass anguish
Eaten on cooperate tables
We it eat for your sakes
is what they tell us
But emaciated ribs roam the pass
Yet we carry on
The National cake
Shall one day dwindle
Honey tongued aristocrats scattered
As chaff to the wind
Bakers bake no more
Monopoly taken away
Then shall the nation die
