koboko69: Well said. You know the worst of it, often print media uses these blogs as a source. It's appalling to see Vanguard carry a story that only a demented soul will believe. And to think they are journalists with an editorial crew. Shameful 2 Likes |

RussianKGB: I don’t. Phone is charged by low current DC, not enough to electrocute people. Now if they want to allege battery explosion then that could be plausible. |

Another, soldier dead by her own gun and bullet. Tell me what she was doing with the phone on her body? Another lazy Nigerian youth on the phone 24/7 dead. If I say 96% of Black or African phone users are dumb people would course my generation to the grave and to my tomb stone. We are in an age of black people with smart phone but dumb people. No RIP from me until the last Nigerian and African man get sense!!! If I say 95% of people with facebook, twitter, waplog, Nairaland and instagram are all into yahoo and online scam job both male and female, old and young, people will call me names like the God father of d Oloribuku somebody. Alot of us now hold clinch unto our phones now as if it were a passport or visa to shuttle around the world looking for greener pastures. When purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable. If you find it difficult to live without touching your phone for 3 days, believe me, you are sick and have no one around bold enough to tell you d bitter kola truth. As long as our life, fun, joy and happiness continue to depend on our phone, then our staggering mischief and mental poverty would continue to be the white man gain, joy, profit and happiness. |

noblealuu: What if I tell u that it's a lie. Are you aware that the internal component in a charger convert the AC power source to DC power source before getting through to the battery? Are you aware that no battery is charged with an ac power? How then did the shock or electrocution came about? Unfortunately you guys believe whatever you read |

A short circuit can deliver a fatal dose of electric shock even on the smallest of all devices connected to a mains supply. |

themanderon:Not possible in this case, the main components would be damaged immediately. The voltage coming from the charger's transformer needs to be rectified and it's almost impossible to see a rectifier in a mobile charger with a peak of 50V. These kind of stories are usually bull crap. |
Re: Nigerian Lady Electrocuted By Her Phone Connected To Light While Asleep(photos) by whaithee(m): 5:18pm On Jun 19, 2018 |
This is very possible. The fault is not usually from the phone but the charger. Once I bought a charger. It shocks like hell when I mistakenly touch the camera (has metal component). Some of these chargers they sell in the market are not friendly at all. You better take caution. |
